Great TV, but was told it can with the Sony Bravia Core app, which I called Sony and I'm still working on getting my 12 months free. Was really hopping to use Sony app to test the full capability of the TV which had not been going will.

Bought this TV to play games at 4K 120. Unfortunately setting the refresh rate to anything higher than 60 causes everything to blur.

My 75" version cannot output an rtx 3070 to HDMI 3 120HzeARC while HDMI 4 120Hz is displaying PS4 PRO running on HDR mode - Game Mode. HDMI 3 shows a snapshot of HDMI 4, sometimes color bands some times flickering bands. Tv Works Fine when you are only trying to use one of the 120hz 4k HDMI Input

After 4 months this TV is already a waste of money. I had researched Sony after having Samsung TV’s my whole life I regret attempting to switch over. The TV developed dark green pixels all over the center. Save the headache and your hard earned money and go with Samsung instead or you’ll regret spending your money on a product that won’t last 4 months DO NOT BUY!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE

Really high-quality smart TV for the price. I've had several Sony TVs over the years and they are all still working perfectly, some almost 10+ years after first purchasing them. Getting another Sony TV was a no-brainer. The Sony rep working at the Best Buy store was extremely helpful in walking through the features of each TV I was looking at and ultimately helped me decide on the X85J given my tendency to watch mostly sports, with the 120hz being a better refresh rate than the X80J. I was trying to decide between 65" and 75" and the Sony rep helped me choose the 75" and I am not disappointed at all. Since I'm sitting further back in my basement, the viewing distance and screen color quality is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this Sony TV for it's picture quality, ease of use/navigation, and overall value given the price of comparable smart TVs these days. I plan on having this TV for a long time and felt it was worth the modest investment to purchase a nicer TV at this size/quality.

The Sony 75 inch Class X85J Series has amazing features with very detailed pictures. You can see any blemishes on the face of the person. The colors are brilliant, crisp and gorgeous. I love this TV and I am enjoying it every time I watch the news, movies and documentaries. Although I use a soundbar but the sound itself is loud and clear.

Great mid range TV - picture quality is great for a LED in this price tier, but not up to OLED ($$$) quality. Needs 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs (only has 2) Remote quality is only ok. Not backlit or premium feeling at all. Google TV integration is wonderful. I'm satisfied with my purchase for $1300, but the next time Ill upgrade to OLED with 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs.

Prior to this tv I had a Samsung 65 inch tv. I bought Samsung cause of the name and reputation. I had the tv for slightly over 2 years when part of my tv turned very dark almost black. I could not believe this had happened. Called Samsung and after almost two hours on the phone with them with very disappointing results. Basically they said they would come and look at it for free. However to fix and repair and to replace parts I am responsible. They weren't able to give me a possible estimate. So after this experience I was not going to buy another Samsung tv. So with many weeks of research, reading many reviews, watching numerous YouTube videos and Googling about tv's, I finally decided Sony TV was my best option based on all of the above. I am in awe of this tv. The colors and picture are amazing!!! Extremely easy to download apps and stream off of the tv. Easy to connect to Facebook too. They tv comes already with lots of apps already integrated into the tv. Like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney and many more. I also love that it is a Google tv. I can speak use it with my Google nest which I love. You can also use it with Alexa too. TV is also anti glare which is amazing as well. I have 9 foot tall windows that fully take up one complete side of my living room. Needless to say this room is flooded with sunlight even when there is overcast. My other tv was impossible to see during a good part of the day cause of the bad glare of the sun. With this new TV there is no glare what so ever. I was impressed by this feature. This TV is also a gaming tv which I have yet to purchase and set up. Looking forward to doing it as well. TV has a great sound however I am a big fan of using a soundbar which I had purchased and love. I have the TV for a month now and love it more and more. I highly recommend it!!!!

Best tv ever! As soon as i plugged it in, connected to my wifi it loaded all my apps and things on its own so convenient and easy. Great pictures great sound

We really love this television. Sony makes them well and they are east to operate. I would buy this television again. Great features, it looks great and it's perfectly sized.

I got this slightly on sale and it's a very nice, balanced screen. There are absolutely better but your wallet will feel the difference. The 75in model is five FEET wide and over 70lbs, I have confidence in my hands but I still chose to have it delivered and installed. Yes it will do 4K120 video and yes it finally got the VRR update for console gaming. This is a good TV for gaming on a PS5. At 100/120fps the processor operates at reduced vertical resolution and makes small text look worse, but in a fast paced game it looked fine to me and felt very responsive. I strongly suggest only using 4K60 settings on any connected PC. HDR quality is convincing. Viewing angles are a bit narrow; you want the TV at a good height and you want to be in front of it not off to the side. Contrast is very good with minimal black glow in a dark room. Looks sometimes better and sometimes worse than the X90, this is due to different CPU and whole-frame vs zone-based dimming. Extended media settings and smart TV features seem to be excellent. As expected it works better with a Sony soundbar and 4K blu ray player....don't expect much from the built-in speakers if you listen to more than the local news. You can get HDR and Dolby Vision content in some shows on the streaming video services and they look excellent. Again this TV is not perfect in every way but it looks much better than the X80 series, it performs well enough as a console gaming screen, and you can add a soundbar while still coming out cheaper than the X90 or an OLED. A solid family TV. PS remember to enable the Reality Creation feature on whichever hdmi is connected to your blu ray player, it makes a nice difference. Be careful, not all video input modes work with all devices and a little trial-and-error may be needed.

This is a great television with plenty of features for advanced users, but simple enough for those just wanting to watch a clear picture, or perhaps stream content to the TV. The viewing angles are great with little/no dark spots or fading. It does run a bit hot but this thing is massive, so that can be expected. It is very slim and includes to legs to support the tv if you do not want to mount it to the wall. Great value for Sony's mid-level television.

This TV is great. It does a fantastic job doing all the things you want in a TV without breaking the bank. It's the perfect middle ground. The picture is clear and smooth. It has all the latest technology features (4K, HDR, high refresh rate) for a 2021 TV. I am still waiting for the update that will allow for 4K/120Hz, variable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode while other brands have native support for those features.

High quality picture, high refresh rate, great sound for TV speakers, and general high quality that's characteristic of a high-end Sony device. But it's all bogged down by the absolutely perplexing decision to use Google Android OS for browsing content and basic functionality. Even the Settings menus. It's a joyless reminder of how big tech is forcing their data capturing software into every nook and cranny of everyday living. That has to be why this excellent TV is bargain priced.

We are coming in on two months with the TV and after using it for all sorts of reasons, from direct streaming to gaming on old consoles to next-gen ones. The tv outperforms my expectations. I had some initial issues with some screen glitching and flashing lines when I connected it to speakers using the HDMI eArc, and it's not the tv. The results were the same as I tested it out on a different tv but of exact size and model. I think the cable I am using or the speakers themselves is causing the issue. But when I use Digital Optical, there are no issues whatsoever. Now the TV does support Dolby Vision, and I can watch movies in that format; however, I found it strange that when using the Xbox Series X, it shows that the TV does not support Dolby Vision which perhaps is something of a software update for gaming. VRR is here now, if you were wondering, and does work on the next-gen consoles. Overall I think that this tv is superb and the best bang for your buck when it comes to gaming. It truly is one of the better ones out there. The darks are dark enough in a bright room, but make sure you don't have lights reflecting off it since the antiglare on TV isn't the best.

Great picture - even adapts to near full sun, onboard Google TV is way better than any external box, sound went out optical to an old Sonos bar and sub, so excellent. Recently put a Bose 900, sub 700, and surround 700 s, wow! This tv will be with us for a few more years. Also, the mic works now, so search is a breeze.

My only issue is some apps are not compatible or available. We’ve chose not to rent out the cable boxes so our only means is download the Xfinity app .I was discouraged and a little upset that I couldn’t Watch my cable TV because This TV is not compatible with Xfinity App. Other than that it’s fine

after 2 defective samsung q60a I changed to the x85j clean image and sharp colors I was unlucky to get a defective one, I also had a point in the image annoying for me to keep it, the a good tv if you get one without defects And you only want it to see a movie or programs, why to play, slow for me with delayed movements according to my experience since I play every day in a different brand,,If you look at the marked line you will see the dirty point there, the photo does not make the problem really clear as in person

After 6 months of shopping and comparing TV's I bought this Sony.It exceeds my expectations with great picture,color and ease of operation.Best of all The Geek Squad did an amazing job..Highly recommend
