Thank you for sharing your experience on using your X800H. We're happy to hear you like the superb picture quality and features of this TV. Regarding to your concern, if a BRAVIA Sync-compatible device (e.g. soundbar, AV receiver) is connected with an HDMI cable to HDMI input 3, you can operate the device with the TV’s remote control. This feature will automatically turns the connected device on when you turn the TV on.
Make sure to turn on the BRAVIA Sync function (control for HDMI) of the TV and the control for HDMI function of your soundbar. To enable the BRAVIA Sync on the TV:
- Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Watching TV] — [External inputs] — [BRAVIA Sync settings] — [BRAVIA Sync control].

Stay Away if you like to watch Football

I got the TV and boy was I disappointed. I'm a huge football fan and this TV has tremendous lag, the players were disjointed and the colors were way off. I tried numerous things to try to get a good picture and it just wasn't happening. I had purchased a much cheaper LG for $500 and the picture on the LG was so much better than this $1,000.00 Sony, granted the Sony was a 75 inch. I ended up returning this TV and got a Samsung Q70T 75 inch. What a pain to remove a 75 inch TV from the wall but it was well worth it. Love the new Samsung, it was $600.00 more but football is great on this TV and everything is so clear! The salesman told me that the Sony has a very low refresh rate and that is why football was so hard to watch on the Sony. If you want the 75 inch TV you cant' just spend $1,000 on these low level models.

Our Motionflow XR refresh rate technology keeps movement smooth and clear, allowing fast moving action sequences in sports and movies to be seen with lifelike clarity which results in less motion blur and afterimage, more flowing motion. As a suggestion, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as motionflow and cinemotion settings for picture quality to smooth out any content.
