The LCD screen is made with high-precision technology to achieve a high level of performance and picture quality. To achieve this level of performance, the backlight setting of the TV is set to maximize the screen brightness. However, you may notice uneven brightness on the TV when watching in a dark environment or when the screen is blank. This condition is normal and not a malfunction of the TV.

Thank you for choosing and purchasing our Sony X800H Ultra HD Smart TV.



We're glad the you like most of the features of your new Bravia TV. We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing some audio issues. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have in our product. We’d love to help you troubleshoot your problem by isolating your sources and understanding your connections. You can isolate this issue by following the troubleshooting steps below.



There are a couple things to try to fix the issue.



Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press the power button for about 5-10 secs while the TV is on. Also check that your TV is running the latest firmware for optimum performance. 1. If you are using the TV built-in speaker, make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system

- Press the (Quick Settings) or ACTION MENU button, then select [Speakers] — [TV speakers].

- Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [TV speakers].

2. Check the volume control.

3. Press MUTING or MUTE or VOL or (Volume) + button to cancel muting.

4. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device.

If a specific audio system is connected with an HDMI cable, please follow the steps below to isolate and fix the issue.

1. Verify whether the TV has an ARC label on one of its HDMI ports

- If the TV has an ARC (Audio Return Channel) label on one of its HDMI ports, connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the TV and the other end to the HDMI OUT (ARC) on the Soundbar.

2. Reconnect the cables and verify the audio output

- Disconnect the cables between the TV and the home theater system or home audio system, and then securely reconnect them.

3. Verify that the Audio Output setting in the TV menu is set to Audio System.

- Press the (Quick Settings) or ACTION MENU button, then select [Speakers] — [Audio system].

- Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [Audio system].

4. Turn off the devices

- Turn off the unit and wait for a minute, then turn on the unit again.

- If the issue still occurs, turn off the TV and wait for a minute, then turn on the TV again.
