I should have continued to stay with Samsung and not listened to the salesman or the manager of the department which said that sony was a better choice. I always had Samsung and have been very happy with them, I don’t know why I switched.

I bought both TV and sound bar. Have to restart every so often. My Last TV was a 60in Vizio and never gave me a problem. I thought buying Sony would be even better and I was wrong. Save your money and buy a Vizio better.

We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing some audio issues. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have in our product. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience.
In additional to restarting your TV, please make sure it was done by power cycling the TV by unplugging it for 60 seconds and re-plugging it back it in. You can isolate the audio drops out issue by following the steps below:
1. If you are using an HDMI cable to connect a device to your TV, make sure it is a Certified Premium HDMI cable with a length of 6 feet or less.
• Skip this step if you don’t have one available.
2. Try running your playback device to your TV and then HDMI eARC/ARC to the sound bar and test again.
3. If the audio system is not compatible with Dolby Digital or DTS, set [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Digital audio out] to [PCM].
4. Check if the [Digital audio out volume] setting of the TV is at maximum.
Press the HOME button, then select: [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Digital audio out volume]
5. Perform a reset on the TV. Please refer to this link for instructions https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/xbr-75x800h/articles/00159487
6. Make sure Software Auto update is set to ON (for future software updates).
A. On the supplied remote, press the Help button.
B. Select System software update, and make sure Automatically check for update is set to ON.
