    Has been a bit a few issues since purchasing. The screen seems to be lighter in the corners, tv froze up from time to time, and it will not connect to Bluetooth no matter what I do. I feel it’s a little defective but overall it has been good for the 3+ years I’ve had this TV.

    The quality picture, sound, and menu /navigation setup are great features of this massive tv! However, mine lags often and will power itself off after a 30 seconds long computer-y grinding sound at least twice a day. These things started right after the one year warranty, of course, and have progressively gotten worse. Not what you would expect after only 4 years.

    Let me start by saying I purchased a less expensive brand from China that ends in sense to begin with. Not a bad tv for the cost but light bleed and dirty screen effect were problems with some material. If your looking at a 65’ tv and you have space I can’t suggest 75 ‘ enough. For me this tv hits size and sweet spot for picture quality vs cost. Great upscaling of spectrum cable using Apple TV box. Set Apple TV at sdr 4K and match frame rates and prepare to be impressed. I love this tv. Checks all the boxes for great motion handling for sports, good picture in moderate light and excellent color reproduction. You can spend less and get a lot less or spend a little more and buy 5 year warranty and know you’ll enjoy a great tv for at least 5 years. Highly recommended.

    So many problems with this TV. The tv freezes half the time and we need to unplug power to reset it. Apps don’t work half the time and we need to reset the TV. When it does work, the screen isn’t clear and looks terrible half the time. I got the 5 year warranty for the tv and had geek squad come and check on the tv. They said there was nothing they could do because it was a software problem and not physical problem to the Tv. Spent all this money on a tv, just so it doesn’t work. Sound doesn’t work either, the sounds bar sometimes disconnects or the tv doesn’t read the sound bar and switches to TV audio.

    Bottom edge of tv blooming

    Colors are amazing. Question for Sony Representative: On the X800H 75" I set it up yesterday. I noticed edge lit backlight every so inches on the bottom of the tv. Is this normal for the X800H. No light is escaping out but it looks like the backlight on the bottom is lighting it every so inches on the bottom. Normal or not?

    Do not buy this one.

    I purchased this 75 inch TV for $1200 about 2 years ago. From get go I noticed the picture has a hazy feel to it when showing dark sceneries. I let this go until a month ago when this TV completely malfunctioned and could not be reset either. After talking to some tech guy it became clear, it is the main mother board and cost $400-$500 to repair. I decided to get another TV instead and send this to junk yard costing me $151 for dispose/recycling. BestBuy do not recycle TV's larger than 55 inch which is pouring more salt on the wound.

    Poor blockage of background light

    Picture quality and sound are good but it’s does not filter out other lights in the room which is really annoying the background is almost like a mirror if I had known it’s doesn’t block out background light I never would have bought it, I’m very disappointed with this TV, I wish I could return it but it’s more than 15 days very upsetting Hollywood

    just got tv yesterday and i always a sony guy, not too happy with the brightness of tv. mite take back and pay the extra 600 to get sony x900h. compare to my samsung 55 7 series the lighting not too bright. watch alot of sports and movies want the full experience

    Do not purchase an XBR Sony TV

    All buyers need to research at Sony Community, search for XBR. The main board on these TVs are failing after 2 years and Sony is not backing this product. Stay away from Sony! Mine lasted 2 years 3 months, a $2,000 TV will not stay on, reboots repeatedly. Sony's response to hundreds of customers is out of warranty. I will never buy a Sony product again. Go to the Sony Community and search for When is Sony going to issue a recall for these XBR Bravia bad Android TVs,

    Bigger doesn't mean better

    Out of the box the screen has dark spots on all four corners of the screen. My x850e never had that problem. It's pretty noticeable. I regret replacing my old TV.

    Awful blacks. Worst TV I've seen in low light.

    This TV looks pretty good in daylight, but when trying to watch in low light, it just blooms and leaks light all over the place. 4K is awful as the light bleeds from the letterbox area into the picture and makes it almost impossible to watch. Garbage for the price. So disappointed. Really wanted to like this. Because of the current situation, I'm most likely stuck with this lemon, Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a new TV. This model is not at all worth the price.

    Delivery Issue

    We ordered on dec 27, we were told it will delivered in on Dec 4th between 7am and 1pm. We took off from Work and we waited only to received a call on this day saying it’s not available and it’s again delivery is scheduled for dec 11. This unprofessional to inform on the same day to let us it’s not getting delivered. Poor service Bestbuy! Raise your bars! Know the reason why people chose to buy from you, don’t let them down!

    Do not buy this TV! Backlight issue!

    Please don’t not purchase this TV!!! I bought this tv as a gift for my mother and less than 3 years the tv just completely went black. Apparently there’s a backlight issue which has a red light that blinks 6 times and does not allow you to turn on the tv. I’m so disappointed. I am out of warranty so this tv goes in the trash. Wish I knew that there’s a backlight issue before I purchased.
