    Horrible skin tones

Horrible skin tones. The worst I have ever had. Sometimes they look very good but most of the time horrible. I have to adjust the settings every time I turn the channel to try and get something close to a good skin tone. My old Mitsubishi DLP tv had a better picture. I have had it less than a year but will probably replace with a Samsung ot something better, This TV really sucks! Don't even consider a Sony

      Hi GaryB,

Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your Sony X800H Ultra HD Smart Android TV.

Thank you for sharing your honest review. We regret to hear you are having picture quality issues with your unit. We value your input and appreciate the feedback. We would like to discuss this further to assist you.

Picture quality depends on the signal and content. You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. You can also select the appropriate picture mode for your Android TV according to the content you are watching such as movies or sports which suits you best. If the Android TV automatically switches to different picture mode after the Picture Mode settings was changed, make sure the Auto Picture Mode is Off.

On the remote control, press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Auto Picture Mode] — the desired option.

For more information, check the Adjust the picture settings on your Android TV.

The motion rate is garbage unless you like seeing the matrix in every frame. Regret buying this tv, sold it for half price just to get rid of it.

      Hi there,

Thank you for choosing and purchasing our Sony X800H Ultra HD Smart TV.

Thank you for sharing your honest review. We apologize that it didn't live up to your expectations. We value your input and appreciate the feedback. On some screens, sports and fast action scenes go by in a blur. Our Motionflow XR refresh rate technology keeps movement smooth and clear, allowing fast moving action sequences in sports and movies to be seen with lifelike clarity which results in less motion blur and afterimage, more flowing motion. You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as motionflow and cinemotion settings for picture quality to smooth out any content.

We regret to know that the unit had to be sold. Thank you for sharing your feedback, it helps us improve our future products.

We hope that you will shop Sony again in the future

      Regards,

      Jess Sony_US
