    This TV checks all of the boxes and then some! The picture quality is amazing, even when streaming, which is all I am doing now that I've "cut the cord!" The apps run seamlessly and my Sonos speakers connected to the Arc input and played strong and smooth whether it was an action movie or news show! Don't hesitate to make this purchase! I was struggling between the LG and this one and I'm glad I went with the Sony!

    The Sony processing is very good, and the image clarity is exceptional. However the brightness of the screen is very disappointing on such an expensive TV, especially in game mode where your only options are deal with it, or turn on black light adjust and have everything washed out. Outside of game mode, SDR is also rather dim. The only times I was impressed by this TV was watching HDR demo content on Youtube that is meant to make a TV look good (like what they play in stores). I exchanged my A80L for an LG G3 and of course the difference is "night and day". I miss the built in Google TV, the Chromecast, and the integration with my Sony amp. Solid TV if you are ok with lower brightness levels.

    Almost everything is perfect about this TV. Every manufacturer should consider the various remote controls with which their TVs may have to interface. Not a knock on Sony at all. An example is turning off voice announcements of program content while using the channel guide. The internet content provider's remote should be considered if it overrides the television's remote.

    The TV picture is amazing! The sound coming out of this TV is the best sound out of any TV I’ve ever experienced. It only gets better when you combine it with a sound system. If you connect a high-end game system like a PS5 or Xbox series X you’ll need to go into the TV settings to make sure they are set to take full advantage of your game systems because the TV did not come that way out of the box for me.
