    Purchased during Black Friday 2023, great tv, been a sony bravia owner for over 20 years. I always come back to Sony in the end after seeing whats out there. Maybe i am old school and stick with what i know!

    Absolutely gorgeous picture. No doubt about that. After a month and a half of use the TV completely failed. No power. No blinking lights. No sound no nothing. I am in the process of replacement through Sony because my one month return was out with Best Buy. Huge disappointment to say the least. I am hoping that this failure does not represent the overall quality of build and reliability of this TV.

    I opted to keep my regular Netflix streaming because its free from T-Mobile. Not thr best quality resolution, but you choose to upgrade to 4k, then its worth spending on this big boy.

    From going to an LGC1 to this TV (A80L)…this was much “darker.” I didn’t like it so much that I returned it. Remote was very strange and the remotes should be backlit and I’m not sure why they aren’t but manufacturers should start producing those. Regardless, I’m happy for Bestbuy and standing by their products.

    Debated between this A80L and the LG C3. Ultimately chose the A80L because I prefer the Google OS and pairing it with a PS5. Could not be happier, jaw is on the floor everytime we turn it on!

    This a really great TV. Viewing at night is amazing. If you have a bright room like we do, you need to realize that the brightness is a problem during the day particularly watching sports. You can use the Vivid setting but it distorts the colors. If you have a really bright room and watch the TV more during the day, go for the mini LED version.
