    If negative stars were possible, never ever again

    DO NOT BUY. Lasted 2 years and its a paperweight. Struggled the entire first year to connect at all to the sony sound system and couldn’t even display HDR on a PS5. A year later they patched it to fix that and then the tvs panel dies. TWO YEARS OF LIFE?!?!? Sony doesn’t do panel repairs and doesnt sell replacement panels. A 77” paperweight on the wall I paid $1500/yr to be blessed with. Never. Again. Spent 3 hours working through their customer support to be told “unplug and then plug it back in and try to turn it on“ 5 different times though 3 different people. Corporate garbage getting pumped out to last just passed warranty coverage, and isnt even worth the cost of the materials. Never had less than 5 years of life with 0 issues with a Samsung. Exceedingly disappointed about every aspect of this tv, and its total lack of ability to function beyond a truly minimal level with any other Sony device.

    although I enjoyed the picture and thought it was great tv it just had some issues and now have the black screen. Tried everything they recommend to fix it but nothing wored. Called best buy and they said the warranty was only a year. They will come to look at it which is $125 then repairs are additional. Read stories that it cost a lot to fix this issue. In any case looks like I have spent about $183 month to use this tv as I may have to get a different one.

    Picture went out

    I’ve had 3 issues with my TV the pic has gone total black with a colored line on the left side. I did call Sony tech and the help me get the picture back on. So the verdict is still out this was all in first month

    I big headache

    Purchased in 2023. TV picture kept going blank on screen but sound remained on. The only way to get picture back was to unplug from wall the plug in again. Sony says this happens frequently and at this time i would have to wait it out for future software updated. They had no time frame for this fix and we not willing to making things right. This was the first and last Sony product i will ever purchase. I then went back to Best Buy. They reviewed all my service calls and did the right thing. Im happily back with Samsung!!

    77" A80J Failure

    Bought 77" A80J in 10/21. On 12/15/23 the panel failed which can't be replaced - TV trashed. 2 years high end, high price TV failing in 2 years is ridiculous. Sony won't help with replacement. Looking at other brands since I feel let down by Sony.
