We looked at several televisions to replace our 60” Pioneer Elite Kuro plasma. The Pioneer was an amazing set, but lacks 4K and wanted a larger display. We first decided on the Samsung S90C since it is the new wave of OLED panels. After having it for a week, both my wife and son noticed how choppy the motion appeared compared to our previous Pioneer plasma. We then decided to replace it with the Sony A80L as we have an A80J in our home theater. What an AMAZING difference!! The A80L is a FANTASTIC display with no choppy motion as we experienced with the Samsung. Colors are spot on and look so lifelike and not over-saturated. Coming from the awesome Pioneer Elite plasma, we are extremely happy with the A80L and would highly recommend it!! Great Job Sony!!!

I have never owned a Sony large screen TV. I have always bought Samsung. The new Samsung 2024 NEO QLED model didn’t work so well for me, so I bought my first Sony and I have loved it. The OLED picture is wonderful. All of my electronics worked well immediately, my TIVO Edge, my Verizon DVR, my Nvidia Shield, and my Samsung Blueray player. My older SONOS sound bar took some work to get it working with the Sony remote. I had to turn off Bluetooth, because my sound bar only used infrared. The Sonos sound bar started working with the Sony remote immediately. The Dolby digital works extremely well with my Sonos sound bar, Sonos sub and two Sonos Play One speakers in a surround sound configuration.

Amazing Sound and Picture! OLED screen produces amazing colors and perfect blacks!

We purchased this Sony 77” OLED to replace a 10 year old 65” LED from a leading competitor. Wow! This TV is incredible. With a minor amount of tweaking the picture is absolutely beautiful. Colors are vibrant and realistic, not overly saturated like some other TV’s we looked at. The blacks are black, not a washed out gray like on our old set. We looked at a lot of TV’s but this OLED kept standing out against the others. We are very happy with our purchase and Best Buy took care of everything from the install to hauling away the old TV. There are a lot of really good TV’s out right now but this one is the one for us.

We love this TV! The color, contrast, detail is amazing. The smart features make it so easy to switch between cable and streaming. We thought 77" might be too big for our living room space but it's just perfect.

The color and contrast of this tv is incredible. The XR processor does a really great job on upscaling lower video format content, and for a tv speaker, they sound amazing. My only complain is I wish the tv would get a bit more brighter. But overall, you cannot go wrong with this tv.

This Sony in 77in does not dissapoint. The features it contains is off the charts. Ranging from every desireable app already loaded to the tv with ease of use. To amazing sound quality, literally no need for an external sound bar. I bought a sony sound bar thinking the tv sound would be lackluster. Im now returning that soundbar cause i dont need it. Unless you have a massive mansion living room you dont need any external speakers. The picture quality of the OLED screen is crazy when watching movies to playing video games. The contrast and 4k HDR is just awe-inspiring to your eyes. Highly recommend getting this tv over the other brands of similiar specs. Sony just does it right.

Upgrading from an LCD 2017 model really showed what Sony has been up to over the past few years. Obviously switching to OLED helped the contrast dramatically. However, even the motion seemed much smoother. Upscaling works great for sports and streaming YouTube TV. I have mine in my basement, Otherwise, it may not have been a bright enough choice. The sound is good, but nothing crazy. I will say it MUCH better than other TV's I've seen though. I still use a sound bar. However, if it wasn't a very nice sound bar, I don't think it would be necessary.

Crystal clear, responsive, amazing blacks and great contrast

Recently upgraded from a 2 year old Sony Bravia 65” to a Sony Bravia 4K 77” just in time for the Super Bowl. Watching the Super Bowl in 4K on this TV was amazing. Colors are top notch. Nice addition to my living room.

As a lifelong professional photographer(48 years) accuracy in color rendering is a priority for me. Detail in shadow and texture in the highlights must be present or I am very disappointed in the image being viewed. Sony gives me an image which I am satisfied with. While I am by no means an expert on the quality of the finest and or most expensive TV monitors which exist, I do believe I see differently by my training and experience than most. Sony's processing and user-adjustable controls allowed me to fine tune and arrive at a satisfactory tweak. Please, though refer to YouTube and other platforms for expert guidance but be aware that most expect the view to know the remote control settings and have reviewed and be familiar with menu settings on your own before seeking expert advice. If not the experience will be frustrating. If the purchaser expects the image to be the quality as viewed at the store, you will be disappointed. This TV requires patience and expect some time commitment after the unit is in your home. Although this is my first Sony TV, I expect the set up time to be no different with Sony's competitors. Our viewing distance at our home is approximately 12' and our choice of the 77" is ideal. The sharpness and color rendering is superb and trust in Sony's build quality and expected durability is why I purchased this TV. I have zero regrets.

This tv has an amazing picture. We weren’t sure if OLED would be right for our room because of a large picture window directly across from where the tv is hung, but this display is bright and vibrant enough that it hasnt been an issue. Compared to other brands, the smart tv features are much sleeker and more user friendly. I havent even hooked my apple tv back up because the tv’s apps have been just as good.

Excellent color, Great Sound, Super Picture buy one!!!

I’ve had a bunch of various tv brands over the years. My last go around was LG which i really liked (nanocell). Moved and now i needed a bigger and something less bright. Was between this and lg c4, samsung not in the running as i wanted dolby atmos and didnt like the matte screen in person. Sony’s picture quality is unmatched. Google tv is nice. The depth of things on screen had the edge on c4. Bravia 8 didn’t seem to have many improvements worth $800 more at time of purchase. Slim remote is nice. It’s perfect brightness. Even a little too bright at times. Im sure lg would have been a great choice as well. But switched it up and it did not disappoint. Jumped from a 55 to 77.

So, I was concerned about this being too big! But it’s insanely good over my fireplace! Geek Squad hung it for me and it is gorgeous. The colors are spot on, the blacks are flawless, and most importantly to me, this panel somehow doesn’t show light reflections as my other TV’s have. It’s somehow brighter than my other OLED. I would def purchase this again!!!!

So far it is great nice picture good quality, sound adjust well to different lights in the room the 77” screen brings more life like entertainment the price was fair the remote works fine at this point am very pleased may be looking at getting a smaller one for a different room same brand looking forward to getting a nice sound board and woofers to bring the sound out more to match the great picture
