    Great Picture But it's not syncing with my Sony Bravia Sound bar. The technician came out last week and said he synced it but sadly not the case. So they will be back out on the 17th to hopefully get it right. maybe Best Buy will get it right this time

    This is an inferior TV compared to the previous Sony which was replaced due to breaking. It will not sync with my AppleTV so I have to use two remotes and when changing between streaming services and starting movies I often miss a few seconds of whatever I’m trying to watch. This was a replacement TV so I’m stuck with it. This has become tedious and ridiculous. And before you say the problem is something else, I have very high internet speed and I’ve tried other AppleTV’s and outside sources. Same result.

We understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. Here are some things to keep in mind and some recommendations:
      1- When using an external streaming device like an AppleTV box, the device comes with its own remote control, which is used for changing apps and starting movies when watching content from that device.
      2- If you'd like to use only the AppleTV remote and avoid using the Sony remote to select the HDMI input, you can enable a feature that is called "Power On Behavior" from the TV settings. Here is how to do it: using the Sony remote control you can go to settings > System > power and energy > power on behavior > select last used input.

      Picture quality may vary depending on the source content. You have the option to adjust the settings of the TV to fine-tune the picture quality depending on your needs. The Motionflow function creates interpolated images to make the picture smooth. Therefore, video noise may appear in fast-moving scenes or switching between scenes on your TV. If there's too much noise, change the Motionflow settings.

    Purchased on 3/29/2025 TV would not turn on 5/2/2025! Called Best Buy and was told TV not warranted by Sony! Having to pay for Geek squad to come and fix TV! Do not buy Sony Products or buy from Best Buy! Both rip offs!!!

      1- Unplug the TV from the power for 2 mins and then plug it back in
      2- Disconnect all external devices from the back and try a different electrical outlet
      3- Press the physical power button on the TV itself, this one is located underneath the TV in the middle.

    DONT BUY this tv the remote works for 1 WEEK and doesn’t respond after that.you have to call Sony and reset everything over the phone after that it will be really slow to respond by then your 2 weeks is up to return the tv for a refund.BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

    Pixalates terribly. If there is a dark area on the show or movie you're watching, it pixalates the area and until it changes, it stays pixalated. The TV doesn't keep up well with HD movies at all. Constantly blurs. I've owned several Sony TVs, have to say after this one, will never buy another. I couldn't return it because BB told me I had to have the original box, et cetera. Who keeps the box of an 85" TV? Now I'm stuck with a TV I hate to watch.

      We suggest modifying the next picture settings:

      Sharpness: Increase the sharpness to max to minimize pixelation issues

      Motionflow: Set to low or off in order to increase clearness and watch moving scenes smoothly

      Random noise reduction: Set to low or off to reduce any picture noise in dark areas of the screen

      In addition to this we would like to note that having a 85" TV means you have a vast amount of pixels in the screen and when watching HD content that makes them more visible than when you are watching the same HD content in smaller TVs, to ensure optimum performance we advise to check the settings of you content to select the highest resolution possible, 4K resolution makes movies clearer because it provides a higher pixel count that is used compared to traditional HD (high definition) content.     Picture quality was not great and what we expected from a Sony TV. There was some pixelation to the tv and on action scenes and sports there was blurriness.

      The picture quality of the TV will depend in the source that you're playing. You may experience a lower quality picture than specified for your TV for several reasons. To experience the highest quality picture on your TV, the video source should be the same quality (HD, 4K, etc.) as specified for your TV. For example, with over-the-air broadcast, when a TV program is broadcast at higher quality, the transmission may have been upscaled from a low-quality source, causing it to look poor. If your video appears fine from other sources, the issue is with the broadcast.

    Gift e-card discrepancy bogus/misleading

    I ordered this TV. The sale price was $1,299.99, while the previous price was $1,599.99, a $300.00 savings. The purchase is supposed to include a free $100 gift e-card, but when I attempted to use the $100.00 gift card, it claimed the e-card had already been used! Bogus or misleading?
