Colors are amazing and picture quality is perfect for movies and sports. Highly recommend this set if you are in the 85" market. Sony TVs have always been our TV of choice and if you get this on sale, even a bigger bonus.

That said, the cross‑angle (off‑axis) viewing is not good—colors wash out and contrast drops noticeably when you move even a bit off center, which is tough in a wide living room. Considering the price, Samsung’s comparable models look more promising to me in both feature set and wide‑angle viewing, which holds up better for group watching. The first one was broken but Best Buy made it right and the new one is perfect. I was worried 85 inches was too big for our space but it looks amazing. We game and the PlayStation 5 looks great! We already had a sound system so it was pretty seamless to connect. Did our research for months on this one. Do yourself a favor and get it. You’ll be glad you did!
