Overall, a solid TV for the price point. The HDR and brightness levels are amazing. The color is very accurate without alot of adjustment. The only downsize are the view angles, that's the only thing keeping me from giving this TV 5 stars. The sound quality is average but I already had a soundbar set up, so the internal TV sound quality isn't an issue.

Best TV I've ever owned. The picture with this tv is phenomenal, and with it being the 85" model, the experience is so immersive. The picture modes out of the box are extremely accurate, and the Smart TV (Google) is extremely fast. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Sony for the win, again!!!

It's a Sony so I expected near perfection.. nothing is perfect but they definitely know how to get close! Picture quality is sharp, colors pop and anything on 4k looks great! Sound is good and loud, we have a soundbar but sometimes it doesn't connect and we still have a hard time telling the difference between the two. The only issue I can come up with is when watching something with subtitles on if the scene is in a dark setting the subtitles illuminate a lot so where the light affects the space in the scene.. but that's honestly an issue with all tvs unless you have OLED..

When considering purchasing this TV there is a lot to unpack here. 1. The TVs Visual Quality is absolutely stunning, I have had many guest witness the visual capabilities of this tv and all of them were left speechless in regards to the spectacular clarity of the picture. It easily competes with more expensive OLED TVs and is significantly cheaper. I’ve seen OLED picture quality and this TVs clarity it just as good and if not better. 2. Gaming, running video games at 120fps is no easy task but this beautiful tv does it flawlessly as it is easily able to handle every feature the latest Gaming Consoles and PCs can throw at it. Also has built in Features in the TV to display crosshairs on screen which is a great bonus. 3. Only minor negatives I have about this product is the weight of the TV, if you plan on mounting it on the wall make sure you have 2 strong individuals prepared for the task. Also I do wish there was AV cable inputs on the back for older plugins but that’s not a problem if you buy an Audio Receiver with it. STR-AN1000 is what I went with and works fantastic with it as the TV itself has a Sony exclusive built in feature that makes the TV the center speaker.

Nice TV, have it delivered and set up, it is worth the money, believe me. The legs are over 18”, so if you are not hanging on wall, make sure your tv console is deep enough, most aren’t that deep. Very good picture, and speakers aren’t that bad, but we did end up using a sound bar with it. It is very heavy. We went with Sony because of all the other Sony products we have had in past that have never let us down.

I have had Sony TVs exclusively for about 20 years. This one has the same quality and clarity I would expect from them. The gaming features are great, and it looks amazing mounted on my big open wall.

Upgraded to this from the XBR 65in I bought 10 years ago. Beautiful colors - some slight blooming in very dark rooms, but it is fine. No issues with this - but wish it didn't have any bloatware. People just connect streamers to these anyway.

we placed an 85" 5-year old Sharp with this unit. the picture quality on the Sony is far superior. We are running the audio through a JBL soundbar which sounds great. This TV was much easier to setup and connect as well.

When we first decided on this BIG TV, we were a bit apprenhisive as we had a new puppy in the house. We did not want it to fall over and thought wall-mounted would not be possible due to size and weight. We purchased the mount recommended by the salesman and it has worked perfectly. The TV has amazing sound quality and picture clarity. Have absolutely no complaints, except for the weight. This is a VERY HEAVY TV.

I was a little hesitant at first buying the older model TV but it was a great price and I took a chance. I'm now definitely glad I did man this is a great TV . It looks great all the time the stock sound is good also . The Sony center voice thing they have going is Fabolous. Best TV I've ever owned.

Awesome TV! I didn't think I'd spend the amount I did for a new TV but it's definitely worth every penny. I've only had Roku or Samsung TVs and I can say that the Sony TV is by far the easiest and most convenient in it's way of picking shows to watch or apps to open. The picture quality is beyond exceptional and paired with a soundbar, makes for a great choice to include in your home.

Sony makes the best television you can buy. It's not just the picture quality. It's the quality of the actual TV. You can tell that it's built to last and it makes sense since Sony's been around since the 60s or 50's making them . I'll never buy another brand.

This is the best bang for your buck TV out there. No normal person wants/needs to spend thousands of dollars on an OLED when this exists. Picture is amazing. Google TV is awesome. If you have never bought a Sony before, please do not hesitate anymore. You can read plenty of Reddit articles on why this TV is the best.
