Thanks for reaching out to us and we are sorry for the inconvenience. We'd like to verify if you're getting poor picture quality from an internal app or an external device? The quality of the source is also a big factor in getting an excellent picture quality. Having said that, picture settings allow a wide array of changes to color, contrast, motion settings, and brightness that can improve the viewed content on your Google TV. The picture quality may improve if you change it in [Picture] under [Settings].
Note: TVs are set up for Shop Front display settings, while in a store, which are very bright and vivid.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a really hard review to write because it’s not a bad TV, I’m not saying it’s “bad.” But I bought it to replace my 2020 65” Sony OLED which sadly didnt have HDMI 2.1. Despite Sony and BB’s claims that this new television has 4 hdmi 2.1 ports, it only has 2. Which is trivial at the end of the day, with earc passthrough, but it kind of goes to show the boasting of new technologies in the 2023 models was bogus. My conundrum had been buy a 2021 A90J 83” OLED or go with the newer 2023 mini led set. As the A80L release date is still unknown, and having ween the X95Ks in store I really thought I’d be happier with the X93L, but honestly for the very hefty price tag it’s shocking how much worse than an older oled it is. After hours and hours of fine tuning in various games and videos you can get the picture and black levels close to the oled, but the oled did it out of the box. It’s big! That’s its big advantage. And it can do some great colors… the viewing angles are way better than expected, etc… it’s not a 20yr old lcd, but I did a side by side comparison with the oled and the oled smoked it in literally every test except having hdmi 2.1 for gaming. Shockingly I’d say the oled is brighter and looks better in both dim and bright rooms. When gaming you get far less motion related random black pixels, and it’s just overall smoother whether playing video games or video content. Maybe the 8k Z series with individual pixel lighting is better, and if you want a mini-led that “perfect,” you have to step up to that series. Game mode is now very annoying. The standard picture settings seem to be fighting hdr instead of working with them like in cinema mode. You are forced into ALLM and can’t get out of it when the TV thinks you need to be in game mode. You also have to manually turn VRR on and off to leave ALLM / Game mode. These aren’t dealbreakers, but it can be annoying. Again, it’s not a bad tv… but it’s clearly not as good as Sony’s OLEDs in terms of raw picture quality and smoothness. And in all fairness, if you’re not video gaming on it you’ll probably be happy with the video content playback, but in ALLM (which you are locked into now, a bit annoying) it seems like all of the PS5s software is fighting the televisions and it is painful to get the picture as close to an oled as possible. As I have never had any of the common oled issues with my old TV… I’m still debating if it’s worth the hassle of returning an 85” television and swapping it for an A90J or seeing how long it takes for the A80L to be released. Either way, my advice is if you’re going to spend this much, spend it on one of Sony’s OLED TVs, not Mini LED.

This is great. We have a big and BRIGHT room. This mini led TV is fantastic. The Dolby sound with this is also really good. I am also very impressed with the Google TV experience. Sony builds a great product and I'm excited to watch this TV for years to come.

This tv is beautiful, the quality is unbelievable! However, this review will be praising the unrelentless perseverance of the technicians who did the install. After the tv was setup, Briana discovered my home theater was not working. After troubleshooting the issue for over an hour, Briana called for backup and Armadeus showed up. They continued to troubleshoot the issue and never gave up. Briana was at my house for over 3 and a half hours, but they were able to resolve my home theater issue. I was so grateful and couldn't believe, they never gave up and wanted to ensure every electronic device I had worked correctly with my tv. They went over and beyond, which is unprecedented! Briana and Armadeus, thank you so much!!! You guys are so awesome!

Was unable to see previous tv due to glare. No issue with Sony. Set up was remarkably easy. Use with Roku and previous soundbar with no problems. Sound from tv itself is very good. Colors are remarkable. Wall mounted. You’ll need 2-3 people to lift/mount it. Delivery was on-time.

Blacks are wonderful and with mini led there is no chance of burn inSound is just ok and you will need a sound bar. I purchased Yamaha yas209 and is great. BB did not have it and bought elsewhere based on reviews.

Minimal blooming with this set, black levels on par with any set I’ve seen. This set may be last years flagship rebadged but it’s very impressive for the money. Smart tv functions very snappy. Mislead info, but product was in good condition

Remote was not the correct one for the product but was still same Brand so it was usable, but it did not have the voice recognition feature that the TV came with so that feature can’t be used. Tv condition was great and so was sound the colors…but wished rep was telling the truth. Also rep said in-store reps would offer extended warranty, that was a lie as well.

The picture quality is top notch. It does have a slight glare from a ceiling light as others had mentioned but its not bad at all. With no lights on with with a movie or show that has dark areas is seamless its such a great TV. One happy customer.
