Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tv, I was going to get a 75" QLED but when I was able to get this open box plus another discount because BB messed up my QLED order I got this tv for just over 1k and wow 85" and for not being QLED it still looks absolutely amazing. Games movies tv shows you name it. 120hz mode vrr works great with a 3090 just make sure you get a HDMI 2.1 cord that can handle the data amount or you will get black screens etc. I also have a sony receiver and the integration with it even being an older model is flawless. Lot of little things I've never had on a tv before that this does. I will probably stick with sont tvs from now on I'm beyond impressed and had I went with a premium brand.

The remote control could not be any easier to use. My wife and I enjoyed the installers who came to our home and set up the TV, they were very knowledgeable and professional and yes they cleaned up after them selves. This is my 6th or 7th purchase of TV's from Best buy for some rentals. If I ever need more I know where I am going to buy them, Best Buy in Jacksonville NC.

I dislike that this tv is somehow extremely bright, in some cases too bright, and simultaneously displays dim colors. Difficult to explain but compared to samsung, the colors are.... less vivid. However, overall, this tv performs great and is impressive.

I had settled for the X85K due to budget, picked up on sale for $1699. I wantd the X90K, but it was slightly out of my price range @$1999. Still get 120hz and vvr for gaming, but no local dimming.

I have this TV in my man cave and it’s great for watching sports and having a big clear screen to see it all. Colors and sound is fantastic. It also goes great the the PS5. The TV has VVR and a 120hz refresh rate, which is needed to take advantage of the PS5 and next Gen gaming. I definitely recommend this TV.

The picture is SO vivid and detailed, and I thought the motion was good. Then I saw what the TCL can do for the same price, and I was disappointed in Sony. Great Value, Incredible Picture, BUT... There's a lot of competition that's better for the same price. Also, next time I will spend more money for the better "Sports" oriented TV. Football is good on this in 4k... just not "Great"

Fantastic value overall. It's not going to beat top-tier LEDs and certainly not OLEDs, but it's still pretty great for movies and gaming. Latest updates bring VRR and support for 4k120hz on PS5 pros: great viewing angles great picture quality for the price support for the current major codecs and resolutions cons: black and brightness levels are average

The Dolby Vision settings are easy to access. I did not have to change the settings, as the default standard settings were excellent. The image quality when paired with a 4K UHD Player or Apple TV 4K unit is unmatched. Definitely a step up from Samsung models in the same price range. The black levels are crisp and clean. The Google TV interface is ok, but I seldom use the TV Smart Features. I absolutely love this TV and I am so glad I purchased it.

Its just amazing. Had little issue with TV which Sony covered under warranty without ifs and buts.

From the moment of taking delivery youll realize you made the perfect decision. Dont try to buy instore & take it home yourself, this beast is another level. Once you have the screen setup youll have a theater like TV, paired with a soundbar content just pops together. Now my cons with this TV; it does take a slight learning curve to configure things properly like the PS5 requires a quick switch to enable VRR & other picture settings. But once you have this sorted out its such smooth sailing!
