Buyer Beward of Simple Physical Damage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this TV for Christmas. On Feb 19, my son threw a starburst candy to his sister and she missed. It hit the middle of the screen. No damage happened to the frontal glass. However the LCD behind it was damaged. This was from a starburst candy that was still soft. Sony will call this physical damage and thus their warranty is void. No extended warranty will work for physical damage on a TV at any retailer including Best Buy. I am not calling this a Best Buy issue because it isn't just Best Buy. But it is a Sony issue. They make a very fragile TV. You can't have anything hit the screen in any way. Do not buy this TV unless you are absolutely sure you won't have anything touch the screen. The picture is good. But the company behind it is not going to help you in any way.

I was thinking the same thing and actually wish it was a little bigger. I would have no hesitation buying this product again.

Cinema Pro is almost spot on out of the box so I give it a thumbs up for ease of use!
