Picture and features are better than any other tv. No dull or flat picture and it’s still visible in high sunlight filled rooms. A lot of features and customization available as well.

First time with a Sony...

Went from a Samsung to Sony. I am a samsung guy. All of my previous tvs have been Samsung. Here is my take on it so far. Interface looks really good. I was able to setup TV pretty easy. Audio with the 40 watts is pretty loud coming from a tv with 20 watts. Blacks looks great. Colors look great in different scenes. There was some configuration I had to adjust on my PS5 so TV could show at 120 mhz. What I didn't like was the back of tv. Mounting it I realized its a plastic back cover but it had some play in it if I pressed into it. Not really an issue but would have preferred it to be a bit sturdy. I also would have liked some extra mounting bolts. It had some but because my previous tv mounting bolts required a different size that the sony I would have liked sony to provide mounting bolts. I didn't my current mounts bolts from 5 yrs ago. Overall my experience was really good.

The interface is VERY easy to use and the processor is FAST! One of my biggest issues is sluggish navigation and this X91J doesn't have the issue. Color & pixels are crystal clear. If you are looking to upgrade your TV - try this one first.

Playing it through a Sonos Arc sound bar and subwoofer…. Super sound! No problems viewing it in a very bright room with wall to wall windows. No reservations or regrets.

My fiancé always watches games and says the quality is great for this. It is very user friendly and easy to use. We do not have “lag” time either when we switch from channel to channel (we have experienced that in the past with other brands). The only “con” to the TV is that it didn’t have the AT&T TV app, but we fixed that issue by purchasing a Roku to connect to it.

Got TotalTech and made an appointment for delivery and install. Alejandro and Dylan from the Geek Squad installed this Sony 85" on the wall effortlessly and professionally. We have only had the TV for a month and are very pleased. It has a great picture from all angles and looks great in our Great Room. The colors and detail on this TV are very nice and realistic imo. I also purchased a Sonos Sound-bar and Subwoofer as I have found the speakers on all these flat screen TV's aren't the greatest. Sony's weren't terrible however, we prefer the sound from the sound-bar.

I upgraded from a Sony XBR-75X850E because I wanted a full array TV. The difference between the edge lit LED of the 850E and the full array LED is night and day. The difference when viewing darker scenes is incredible. The picture is about as good as you can get without going OLED; and, side by side in the store with an OLED, I think this full array holds up pretty good. Setup was simple and I easily wall mounted it with the help of my brother.

Because of the turn in the stairwell, the delivery folks could not take it downstairs. They said they will not take it out of the box and take it downstairs. It took me and my two boys, with my wife directing traffic, to take it into the basement after removing it from the box. Once we got it downstairs, it was easy to setup and connect to a Marantz AV Receiver. I was truly surprised by the picture quality straight out of the box without much fiddling. It is not connected to any streaming devices, I am using the built in apps.

You won’t even need a sound bar. The apps within are convenient and easily integrated to the ones you already own. I used to hate getting a new gadget coz I have to log in again with the username and password that I usually forget. Not on this TV, so long as you have a mobile device that’s connected to the same network, log in will be a tap of a finger! Awesome!

Connecting it to my google home voice command has given me some difficulty but that could just be user error so don't take that too seriously. The biggest piece of advice I have is to make sure you have another person to help you install it. I thought I'd save money by not having Geek Squad set it up for me and it was much heavier and difficult to remove from the box and get it set up safely. If I had to do it over I would just pay for the complete install.
