Only had a chance to use a few time BUT as always, Sony cameras NEVER disappoint!!! My first Sony was back in 2000 (the first 5 megapixel on the market) and after 12+ years of fantastically beautiful photos, many turned to framed pics for friends and family for gifts, started to use my cell phones as my go to camera. Then phone broken in a move forcing it's much overdue retirement. Love this new camera and so far fantastic pictures. Having a little trouble with the new features but because Sony is, what I feel is user friendly, just a little learning curve. I know that with time spent with the camera will be worth the small frustrations. Bottom line GREAT camera and good price point for what you get with a Sony!

So good! Love the A6100. It takes great photos and video, is super compact and it is easy to download photos by WiFi. Excellent!!!

High quality pics and the style of the camera is nostalgic

Amazing camera! The quality is great I love it and how I can Flip the screen as well to see myself record.

I started off with the Sony A5100, mainly for the flip up screen, then I switched to the Sony A6000. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a flip up screen on the Sony A6000, while I did enjoy it and took incredible pictures I switched to the Sony A6100 and I’m so glad I did. There are so many features and I love taking family pictures and being able to see myself with the flip up screen instead of using my phone as a mirror image. As far as thinking about the Sony A6400 that wasn’t a option for just a little difference I stuck to the Song A6100 and so happy I did.

This camera takes great photos and videos! Very beginner friendly.

After you watch a few YouTube videos you’ll find that this camera is pretty easy to use, I recently purchased this because I am expecting my first child so I wanted something to take good pictures and videos and the quality of this camera is really great even without an expensive lens but I do plan to get a better lens than the 16-50mm lens this camera comes with. Overall easy to use, super easy to send the pictures on the camera to your cellphone you just need to download an app on your phone that will connect with your camera, really happy with this

The camera has an amazing quality and as a beginner user of digital camera, the settings are pretty easy. You can upload your pictures from the camera to your phone. Last but not least, the price was amazinggggg!

love my camera , this is great and works amazingly

Great camera, purchased it as a gift for my god-daughter and she is absolutely loves it. She hasn't put it down since she got it. Camera takes high quality pictures and very easy to handle.

I'll start off by saying this is a nicely made camera, small bodied and easy to handle. This included a 32gb sd card along with the 16-50mm lens. I'm used to lager more user adjustable dslr cameras that are super Bulky. I like the smaller form factor of this mirrorless camera, it has a built in hot shoe for a larger higher quality flash then the tiny built in one. I say the built in flash is tiny, which it is, but it is useful for portraits and closer subjects. The rear display will fold up and down, but not out or swivel, which would be a nice feature to seemon a future model. I like that the A6100 takes pics in 4K as well as video in 24p and 30p, just not the most desirable 60p. Which isn't a deal breaker imo for the reasonable price of 749.99 retail. The menu system imo, is very outdated, my older dslrs have the exact same menu system and neither of them are a Sony. This does capture great low light photography as well as video. The built in wifi and sony smartphone software to transfer photos to your phone is ok, I find it overly neccessary but many will like the feature and benefits of it. My only complaints are the outdated menu system as well as poor battery life. Also I don't care for the fact the eye cup view finder isnt live, it's a small monitor, and the delay on it is terrible and irritating to me. I subtracted a star for the 3 cons. All in all I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a relatively reasonable priced mirrorless camera, and maybe buying some higher end lenses.

Bought this for my girlfriend as a graduation gift with the intent for her to use it for videos, but it has became her main camera and she’s loved it ever since. 5/5. Great quality for the price you will pay

excellent camera, easy to use and great quality photos

For the longest time I wanted a camera that I could use as a person that wants get into photography. I wanted to be able to change the lens but I did not like the bulky size. But this is perfect, both of both worlds. I can change lenses and have a light compact camera that I can attach a smaller lens if I need too. I have been very impressed with the image quality and easy of use. I went back and forth between this and the a6000 and a6400. To me, this has better improvements over a6000 and cheaper than the a6400.

Great camera. My daughter has taken it around the world. Logged over 3000 pictures. Now looking into different lens options

Decent camera to carry around, not too heavy. I can throw it in my backpack or my girlfriends purse without having to worry about it. Picture quality is decent. It was a deal I couldn't pass up especially with the price match from Amazon.

Very happy with the a6100. Was very happy with the a6000 but it is being used elsewhere in our studio, so here we are. The updates are noticeable but not in interference with the a6000 so it is a seamless continuation. Much improved video and AF. A lot of reviews are not pleased with the high price as a replacement for the a6000, luckily I got this open box (in excellent condition) so if there's a will there's a way.
