I had just done a lot of research about mirrorless vs DSLR cameras, and they are all the rage for photographers these days. Sony cameras take the cake when it comes to value, quality, and technical finesse. The Sony Alpha 6100 mirrorless camera was a great choice in between the cheaper 6000 and below models, and cheaper, but just as nice quality as the Sony 6400. The main difference between the two is the plastic-body camera vs the 6400's metal. And that there are some file/color profiles that the 6100 doesn't offer. I don't mind this, and it still feels heavy and is very durable. Nice color profile in photographs, as usual. It also shoots video in 4k which is fantastic!!! It has an auto focus that tracks motion (like hands, faces, animals, etc.), so you aren't stuck with blurry footage if you're making videos with some movement. All around super happy with the purchase, the only thing they could have done to make it better was include a tie for the lens cap so that you don't misplace it. Other than that it's wonderful and you can change out any Sony lens practically, because most of them use an E-mount. Super awesome brand and camera for a decent budget.
