Awesome camera

Easy to carry around, very useful for personal vlogging since you can flip the screen to you. The only con is this camera doesn't have OSS, but OSS lens is perfect for it.

Huge improvement

I cannot say how pleased I am with this camera and how much photo taking quality improvement this camera brings compared to the 6500. However, I am bummed that they took the option to add photo filters and other features that the 6500 had, e.g. double exposure, time-lapse, miniature mode, multiple frame, etc. Overall, this camera is the best before I move to the full-frame arena.

Get it for the auto eye focus

Perfect for my needs. You don’t need a full frame to get great photos and you don’t need to break the bank. Get some good glass and this and you’ll be fine. If so high quality professional work you may need full frame but for me as an armature photographer and hobbyist this is perfect.

Fast, accurate & reliable autofocus

Amazing little camera, using it with Sigma 30mm f1.4 and TT Artisans 40mm Macro is a amazing combo

With eye autofocus and a speedy processor, the focus is on par with the expensive full frame cameras out there. I am loving the added HLOG picture profile for video. This camera is more than just a consumer camera; I’m getting professional photos with this little guy. Way to go SONY!!! By the way, if you are getting into photography, welcome to your new addiction!

Great camera. Takes a bit to get used to.

I am using it mostly for sports photography - kids soccer, to be more specific. The continuous autofocus tracking is amazingly sticky to the subject. Burst shooting is also one of the best in this price range. If you decide to get this, spend some time and watch Sony ambassador Mark Galer YouTube.

Awesome camera

I mainly got this camera due to the 120 FPS slow motion feature and the 4K. I believe it will take my videos to the next level. I use this mainly for paintball photography and the focus is super fast. I have capture amazing shots with this camera and have not yet used it to its full potential I was able to get it on sale for $799 so I had to jump on it!

As an amatuer to filmography, I highly recommend this to anyone. Great quality. Video and photographically superb. Don't sleep on this peice of greatness. If you have been spending time reaearching and pondering, then stop wasting any more time. Just buy it. You will be pleased!
