Excellent starter camera, main useful points is 11 FPS shooting, auto focus tracking great for video and high movement (kids). Great photo quality, look up a guide for best settings.

Budget friendly for the beginner like me. Its compact size and versatility make it great for on-the-go shooting without lugging around heavy gear. Also offers 4K video. Loved it.

I am very happy with my camera. Its my hobby and this is the first camera I bought. Excellent photos, excellent videos, easy to share photos to my Samsung S23 Ultra. At first I found it hard to use it, but day after day I learned most of the settings. I definitely recomend.

Sooooooo what can I say. I’m in love with the quality overall, I’m an amateur, I bought so many lenses already for this camera, I love the quality of the pictures and video. If you record videos like me, get the Sony small microphone, it will be a huge change in the quality of the video sound. I used sigma lens 30mm on these pictures posted

Awesome camera. Full frame would definitely be an upgrade but I think this is the best camera that is not full frame.

I purchased this camera for a family vacation in the Caribbean. I was able to capture all our special moments. It had a flip screen which allows you to see exactly what your filming. Surpassed my expectations, might even take up some photography classes just to maximize my understanding of all the features of this camera.

When I first arrived at Potomac yard I wasn’t sure what lens to use but the worker helped me decided she talked about every key factor of the camara and convinced me and I’m glad I did. When I went to go pick it up at a different location I showed proof purchase and showed my ID and the process was simple because the workers are polite to you.

I shoot video and photos both semi-professionally and as a hobby. If you’re looking for a great all around camera, this is it. There’s no in-body image stabilization, the high ISO performance is just okay, and the RAW files in post seemingly wont hold up as well as my canon’s did. The menus can be a little intimidating. Oh, and the SD card slot is right next to the battery instead of on the side where it should be. All that said, it still takes a great image, is light, compact, and has autofocus that’s superb in plentiful light, but is absolutely awful in lowlight. Even though I’m planning to upgrade to a dedicated video camera soon, I’ll still be keeping this as my main stills camera. Oh, and the lens it comes with is pretty great as far as kit lenses go. No complaints there. Attached photos were all taken with this camera and either the lens it comes with or the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and developed in Lightroom.

Idk if I'm not used to this camera but I feel like sometimes the quality looks good sometimes idk .

An older camera ,released in 2019 , as a “mid teir” camera, but is underestimated in terms of performance, upgrade ability, and overall build quality! This is my first camera, and I don’t plan on making it a career so to say, but I do explore my hobbies professionally ; and this camera respectively allows me to do that. In summation after time of personal use as well as further research, after purchasing, this camera, I conclude any person, competent enough to use their thumbs and index. Fingers can put Together a professional portfolio branding and establishing themselves as a worthy employee, photographer of any status. let alone not to mention high quality, hobby art from the sensor and lenses compatible with the a 6400 it’s awesome and worth what I paid brand new full price in 2023 and I’ve only had it about a month or so now, but to me very worth it it’s just fun and it’s Sony …..and I’m a Sony fan Boy.

Very happy with my a6400; little bit of a learning curve but nowadays video tutorials and other learning resources are plentiful online. Face detection and eye detection is fantastic. No onboard stabilization but I have a few lens with stabilization and I usually use a tripod or gimbal so this hasn’t been an issue for me. It’s a nice companion for my a7iii and it’s nice and small which has been great for travel.

I LOVE this camera! I do a lot of virtual work as an ASL interpreter and I was looking to upgrade my webcam. The Sony a6400 is a perfect fit for me. Not too complicated to setup once I watched a few youtube reviews and the quality is undeniable. I’ve even used it to record some interpreting “how-to” videos and I’m very satisfied with the quality of how they turned out!

This is my first camera and I can say that it is very easy to use. I am still learning the manual modes but i was able to take some pretty amazing pictures using the auto mode.

ive been getting into photography and its taken over my life, i use this camera for a lot of car related pictures and videos and all customers are satisfied with them

I feel like I got more than my monies worth! I was looking at a A7iii, but couldn’t afford that just yet. This camera makes me feel like I’m not missing much of anything! Beautiful image quality and spot on focus! Very little editing needs to be done with the images from this thing! I attached a few samples; I was very pleased with the results.

This is my first camera. I plan to make YouTube videos with it. I’m still just playing around with it and trying to learn everything there is to know with the camera, but I do love it. The build quality is great. It shoots video in 4K and snaps some amazing daytime photos. Low light shots are a bit of a let down, and image stabilization is not as good as some of the higher end Sony’s. There are a lot of complaints about the menu, but honestly I don’t have a problem with it. Overall a great learning camera with a lot to grow into.

Love it every day we use to capture our new baby photos, we bought two days before his delivery and we have been useing it since than. Almost one year of use and it did not disappoint once.

Good service, very attentive collection and the camera is in perfect condition! nothing negative, the camera helps me in my work and I'm happy with it. I would definitely shop at Best Buy again :)
