My older Sony 5NEX stopped working. I debated for a long time if I wanted to get another sony bc I do love Canon as I always liked the way color came out on their cameras better. But eventually ended up getting one as I already had the longer zoom lens and this camera is more compact. Debated between this and the A6000. Am so glad I spent the extra money to get this camera that was more expensive as it had the better lens and slightly more features than the other version. I took pics during a musical for my nephew. It was extremely dark and I didn't use a flash and the pictures turned out great! and the color and clarity are excellent. Also used my longer lens for a college graduation. it captures motion/movement better than my previous camera - I used to have a lot of blurry pics before. So far I've only used it a few times - but very happy with results. Very easy for amateur to use. I am a bit of a lazy photog and mostly use auto focus.

Light weight , portable camera. Have had awhile now. Pictures are clear. I am new to sony after many years using canon. Its definitely more complicated . Canon seemed more user friendly. I am slowly learning all features of this camera. I wanted a lighter more portable camera and this is that.

Best Sony mirrorless camera to buy for someone trying to learn photography. Easy to use and we can find a lot of helpful online videos to get accustomed with all camera features. Eye tracking and other features are helpful. Flip screen is useful for taking selfies. Kit lens 18-135 mm provided is light weight and covers a wide range of focal length. Kit lens is enough for most of the scenarios to take photos.

Great image quality, 4k video recording, tilt up lcd. This camera is packed with latest tech. But... Battery is its weakness. Without battery grip offered by sony, battery life remains as its weakness. And as a sony camera, it has its usual annoying non-touch menu system. Other than that, it's a great value for the money.

Owned an A6300 wanted a second camera to carry in the field for wildlife/landscape new A6400 now in top position as good as advertised for sure...

One of the best cameras out there. Shoots great pictures and specially 4k videos are like crystal clear. Definitely worth every penny.

My fav I love the quality of the pictures is easy to use easy to hold you can record 4k videos ! And I love that it comes with a camera lens !

This camera from Sony is an outstanding camera for under $1,000. I have only owned large DSLR Minolta and Sony products for the last 30 years. So, it takes some getting used to with this much smaller APSC camera, but the downsize in weight is a welcome change. The A6400 is feature rich and you can start using it right out of the box on Auto or you can use dive into more professional settings. I highly endorse this camera and have not regretted buying it once.

The best! Love this camera! It replaced in old Nikon DSLR and its lenses. The smaller size , improved functionality and greater image quality are the best!

I've been using the Sony Alpha A6400 for a while now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. It’s an outstanding mirrorless camera that strikes the perfect balance between portability and professional-quality output.

I absolutely adore this camera. I returned my A7II for this camera and have no regrets. The autofocus is incredibly fast, the camera itself is amazingly light, and the included kit lens is shockingly good. I use this camera for everything ranging from Macro to landscape photography, fast paced action shots of my dogs and portraits of my family. The auto eye focus on both humans and animals is incredible.

For a beginner getting into photography (so take this for what that's worth), I really am so happy with the purchase of this camera! I am able to take quality pictures that allows me to really have fun and not worry too much more at this time for a beginner to get excited about learning more while still able to capture a great image. I can't speak to the video side yet since I haven't gone down that path with the camera... yet, but I could only imagine the quality that is there as well. Really glad I leaned this way for a first beginner/pro camera!

Long time Nikon user and decided to give Sony brand a try. So far, I like the image quality and simple/easy to use. I have kids participating in sports and I needed a camera that could keep up with them. This camera has done that so far and quality is great.

Been shooting on this for over a month and have been very pleased with the camera. Pictures have been a great quality while the portability has been very appreciated. Even though this is my first time using a Sony camera the UI has felt very intuitive. In the end this has been a very good transition from the DSLR I used previously.
