The menu is deep and hard to get used to. But overall I love how light the camera is and it is easy to carry. I do recommend getting a smallrig for putting attachments on it. Balances great on my ronin sc.

I am not into professional photography but if feels like I am taking photography to next level. Pictures are easy to take and the results are impressive. Great DayLight Camera and Lens

I had to say I can't take a clear picture of my kids when they are running. The video on the ads with motorcycles was misleading and I don't know how they take a picture of a motorcyclist like that. I could not take any photos as clear as they had on the video while kids moving around even if I used a tripod. My second thing is that the lens is great in daylight. It is not good in low-light scenarios.

I will say the menu is extensive and I'm just now starting to get a handle on all the options. Taking videos have exceeded expectations as I was expecting more rolling shutter based on other reviews. The auto focus has been awesome and the best feature of this camera. The only issue I have is using manual lenses and getting the focus right, an indictment of my skills, not the camera.

Only 24mp like the other models Sony?

If you are looking at this for a paid job it should work very well for the advanced users. With proper glass (G Lense) or better this is a very capable shooter. This has been out a while and the price has not gone down a whole lot over the years if you can hold off until Sony comes up with the next best thing I would recommend doing that. This cameras 24mp sensor is just enough but more can be offered with larger sensors and the right software AI.

Good Camera for Beginners and Professionals

I am new to photography and this camera takes really good pictures. I was told by professional that they keep this camera in the bag to take photos as well. I have never taken a decent picture with an iPhone or any smartphone but was able to take decent photos with this camera on auto settings.

I’m a beginner and this camera have given me the ability to take stunning, action shot of my three kids playing HS sports. It’s so good that it’s easy to get carried away; I took 1100 pictures at my son’s last varsity baseball game! I recommend a good memory card with plenty of memory- you won’t be disappointed!

I have the 18-135 kit lens and a couple of sigma primes and they all do a good job. Only big gripe is no 4k/60, but if you want to spend a little bit more you can get the a6700 if you really need that.
