the main reason I bought this camera was for the eye autofocus which is extremely useful. The A7iii is easy to use and reliable. I like that I can customize multiple buttons to access what I mainly use. It’s lightweight so it’s not a burden to carry around all day. Great investment.

I've been very pleased with this camera body for still work. It has excellent dynamic range and capacity to cope with low light situations. I haven't had to go above ISO 4000 yet, but noise levels aren't bad even there. I'm reminded of the old Tri-X ISO 400 film. Many lenses, Sony and otherwise, in various grades of quality are available for this body. I chose Sigma rather than Sony kit lenses and have been impressed with the photographic results. The controls will take some getting used to for newbies or people who, like me, step up from a compact Sony model. The owner's manual and online companion guide could be better, but together they provide just enough information to give owners a fighting chance. But I'm rating the camera body here not the writers of the manual.

This is a fantastic camera and after using 6+ in the past few jobs I've had - it also seems to be reliable. Fantastic battery life, no heating issues... great image quality. Happy happy camper.

Great upgrade from the Sony A6000. It feels great and easy to use (after you get used to the settings). Love that you get 2 SD card slots and the quality of the photos are great. Battery life is good too.

Can take pictures both portrait and landscape. Better than DLS Nikon or Canon that I have used in the past. Light weight but good picture quality. Easy to use. Changing the battery is a little bit difficult.

I am so happy I took a chance on this beast! As a Canon DSLR user I was nervous about switching to Sony. Best decision I ever made. The eye auto focus is a game changer. Images are razor sharp!

The Sony A7 III lives up to the hype. It's light, comfortable to hold, and most importantly, takes wonderful photos. I'm still exploring what this camera can do when it comes to stills, and will educate myself about video soon. The menu can be challenging in terms of scrolling through all of the information available, and remembering where specific capabilities reside. There are a multitude of helpful YouTube videos, and I've found David Busch's Sony A7 III book an extremely worthwhile investment. I also purchased the Sony 24-105mm lens. It's a bit heavy, but a great all-around lens.

I was using a canon body and it was a few years old already so I decided to invest in a song mirrorless. It's so perfect! Battery is great and I feel like I'm going to have it for a few years to come

I just oucked this camera up in November of 2023, and i can say it's still worth it. Get it!!!! This is a great body in itself what also matter is the type of lens you buy. Im starting off with the Sony 50mm f1.8 but very quickly wanting a wide angle lens not because the 50mm isnt great but I'm looking to also make some vlogs. Overall great camera!!!! Buy if it fits your budget!!!

With this body being in high demand, the wait time was well worth it! Whether it comes to blazing fast sports photography or low light shooting, you best believe this camera exceeds in almost any department! The improved hand grip feels nicer to hold and expect almost triple the photo/video time with the new improved sony battery! This camera feels as if Sony really absorbs everyones input on what they wanted in a mirrorless camera, whether it be improves or complete over hauls of the tech, and came close to perfect with what we know as the Sony A7 iii! Well done, Sony!

I love how this camera shoots! Its so usefull for sports and portraits! Also love the low light capabilities! This camera us awesome!

I started out with the A72, but found it struggled to focus accurately. Not so with this A73! It also has some great features that I have come to appreciate: 4K video, in-body image stabilization, multiple user-assignable buttons, customizable instant-access menu. The battery is great too. Give yourself time to learn where everything is--like take a thousand pictures. The menu is huge. I'm not an expert, nor am I a professional photographer, but with this camera I feel like I have to tools to attain both. For the price, I would highly recommend it. P.S. Lenses are expensive, so get used to spending money. I would also highly recommend getting a copy of Adobe Lightroom.

After 2 years of having SONY a7, I decided to upgrade my gear to a7iii. It is really the best AF camera, I think. You will regret buying it. It is very hard to take bad photos with it.

Good camera for beginners and more advanced good for photo and video and grows with you as you improve, lots of accessories and cool features
