Works well with manual control and a prime lens Trouble focusing on auto with kit lens. Proba ly would buy with the $200 50 mm prime onstead if could do it over, or better yet, the 35mm Sony 1.8 prime lens.

So far I like this camera. It has a built in level which is nice. The color seems to be outstanding. I took some outdoor photos and they looked very professional. Now I need to figure out what all of the other buttons are for and really start digging in with this one. I like how you can email photos straight from the camera to your phone after downloading the edge app.

I’ve done a lot of research on this camera so I knew what I was getting. It was everything I needed! I’m a user of the A73 and wanted something with similar performance but smaller and lighter. The autofocus is much better on this. People complain about the ergonomics but I had the Sony a6000 for years and this feels similar and familiar to me. The lack of buttons don’t hinder me either. Once your ok with this the camera is amazing!!

This is a great full frame camera for the price.. Really love the quality of image it takes once paired with a quality lens. The kit lens is good but not mind blowing .. The menu system is a little confusing but will get sue to.. Over all a great buy..

I thought about this purchase for months and settled on this camera. Works great for both photos and video and all the reviews about how versatile it is were correct. I just started taking up photography and it's been fun with this portable camera. Easy to stuff it in a bag and go. Can't wait to take it on my next vacation.

This is a perfect compact camera. This is my first “real” mirror less camera. i’ve had crappy old 200$ cameras in the past and wow. this is a crazy upgrade. every picture has such depth and amazing color and shading. i recommend this camera for anyone who’s either a beginner or even a pro as an easy side camera!

I’ve had this camera over a year and half now. And all I can say is “thee best camera I’ve ever owned”. I’ve recently been using it for recording my family podcast and it’s Amazing!

So far as a beginner photographer I am loving this camera. I also use it for video (YouTube) and it’s excellent—best quality. I’m still learning traditional photography but it’s been amazing nonetheless

I did months of research on this camera before I bought it and it does not disappoint! I'm not a professional photographer/videographer but I've been a hobbyist for quite some time now. This takes incredible photos and video! It's not cheap certainly and the lenses are pricy as well, but the outcome is worth it. Crystal clear photos/videos and amazing memories. I love this camera and its features.

This is a versatile full frame camera. It's slightly bigger than the A6000 series, but packs a lot of features only found on higher end models. I use it mainly for low-light and macro shoots. The picture quality is excellent and highly recommended.

I have an A7III that I love, but I wanted to cut down the weight for my new gimbal. The A7C was the perfect choice. I wish Sony would update the firmware to give this generation of cameras the new menu system, but I cannot argue with the quality of this camera.

Truly a compact beast. I was hesitant because of the smaller EVF, and the lack of a built-in flash, but in reality, the EVF does just fine, and I never used a flash in the first place. I certainly wish it did a little more like 8k, but you can't ask for everything. I keep this camera with me all the time because it's so compact and it's a beast.

4k recording and with unlimited lenses to attach very sharp and clean images if your always on the go and don't like bulky heavy cameras this is for you plus its still a professional camera and easy to use just buy it !

Great upgrade (from aps-c) with options for customization that it "appears" not to have. Things I don't like: No eye cup. Feel of grip. A6600 felt way better in hand.

I love this camera. It has amazing quality and the flip out screen was a big improvement from the a7iii. The look is just super classic too. It's not too heavy and is very portable.

This is a great camera, though a lot pricier than it should be. I love the small size. It looks slightly smaller than the A7iii but when you actually hold it, it feels a lot smaller. Grip isn't huge for bigger handed people. LCD quality isn't that great so photos come out nicer than they appear, but other than that, I love this camera.

Great camera for the price point. You get everything the A7iii has in a compact body plus a sensor and a few more things with it. The lens kit tht come with it is pretty decent.
