Works great for both photos and video and all the reviews about how versatile it is were correct. I just started taking up photography and it's been fun with this portable camera. Easy to stuff it in a bag and go. Can't wait to take it on my next vacation.

I also use it for video (YouTube) and it’s excellent—best quality. I’m still learning traditional photography but it’s been amazing nonetheless

I'm not a professional photographer/videographer but I've been a hobbyist for quite some time now. This takes incredible photos and video! It's not cheap certainly and the lenses are pricy as well, but the outcome is worth it. Crystal clear photos/videos and amazing memories. I love this camera and its features.

Great for low-light and macro shoots

It's slightly bigger than the A6000 series, but packs a lot of features only found on higher end models. I use it mainly for low-light and macro shoots. The picture quality is excellent and highly recommended.

excellent quality photos from smaller body

The A7C was the perfect choice. I wish Sony would update the firmware to give this generation of cameras the new menu system, but I cannot argue with the quality of this camera.

Things I don't like: No eye cup. Feel of grip. A6600 felt way better in hand.

A compact beast

I was hesitant because of the smaller EVF, and the lack of a built-in flash, but in reality, the EVF does just fine, and I never used a flash in the first place. I certainly wish it did a little more like 8k, but you can't ask for everything. I keep this camera with me all the time because it's so compact and it's a beast.

Great Camera for enthusiasts!

I love the small size. It looks slightly smaller than the A7iii but when you actually hold it, it feels a lot smaller. Grip isn't huge for bigger handed people. LCD quality isn't that great so photos come out nicer than they appear, but other than that, I love this camera.

Awesome Video Camera with photo potential.

It's my perfect video companion for small to medium productions. I have the 7Siii and the quality comes very very close when pairing the footage. Unfortunately, I bought it from the open-box section and I received it with a different lens kit and not battery.

Small. Portable. Nice!

I wanted something a little smaller than my A73 but with the same features. I didn't mind sacrificing a few features for this model. Wonderful focus. Beautiful pictures. I'm really glad I traded in my A73 for this until the A74 is released!

This is a perfect size for smaller prime lenses and I really like the newer autofocus. I still focus on my other cameras but this one is a perfect travel companion.

The size of this camera is perfect, quality is amazing. I love the better low light performance and battery life. The kit lens is a solid performer and with it's size, it's the perfect travel, hiking and camping companion.

There are some sacrifices made going with this camera compared to others in the lineup, but I take this camera with me everywhere. Almost always this camera has the 24mm 2.8 G lens and it is a super convenient size
