I have come to expect flawless products from Sony and our new Sony A 7r IV camera definitely keeps this trend alive. Paired with Sony lens it is easy to use, feature rich and competitive with the finest full frame cameras on the market.

Great for low light photos. Lot of new features and easy to get used to it even for a first time user. I used it for all types of photos and in all occasions all the photos came out phenomenal. I like the new lock on the dail and easy customizable shortcuts

So far so good. This is my first high megapixel full frame camera and the images are so sharp. The resolution is unreal. I can hardly believe how much I can zoom in and not loose resolution.

Honestly, one of the best cameras in terms of photography on the market. Very fast auto focus, plenty of features and phenomenal results with each picture.

Amazing image quality and autofocus capabilities. I had the A7r III before which was great but this has been a huge upgrade.

A very high-quality piece of equipment. 61 megapixel Imager allows digital enlargements many times over. At $500 off the list price, it was definitely a “Best Buy”. Ordered online and shipping was very quick.

Was a little hesitant to purchase with the a7r V coming out soon, but a sale prompted me to make the purchase before taking a trip out to Seattle. 61 MP is a lot and more than the average person is going to need in relation to prints/posting their work. The ability to crop and utilize APS-C mode was the driving factor for me to purchase. I do a lot of landscape photography so this allows me to keep my bag a bit lighter on longer hikes while still maintaining a good range in focal distances with the lenses I do bring along. Check out @peachhikes on instagram to see some shots! Would love to upload them here but the site is not compressing them small enough to upload :(

The Sony Alpha 7R IV is a powerhouse camera that exceeds expectations. With its impressive 61 MP full-frame sensor, it captures stunning, incredibly detailed images. The mirrorless design allows for compactness without compromising on performance. The camera body offers versatility, accommodating interchangeable lenses to suit different shooting needs. The black finish exudes a professional look and feel. If you're a photography enthusiast or a professional seeking exceptional image quality and flexibility, the Sony Alpha 7R IV is an outstanding choice.

Pros: * Intelligent, fast and precise auto focus * 61mp resolution allows extensive cropping and manipulation * Very granular customization options * Great availability of native and 3rd party lenses (finally) Cons: * Battery life is atrocious, even realizing the performance you're getting out of it. But 670 CIPA vs 1300 on Canon 90D is serious downgrade. * Battery charger comes with a cable instead of built-in plug, one more thing to carry around and possibly lose. * Viewfinder is dark (obviously, because it's electronic) while camera is waking up from sleep.

This is my second Sony Ar7iv camera body! Fast AF, lightweight, and amazing photos come out of this camera. Paired with great Sony GM lenses, this will not disappoint!

Love this camera! Very fast autofocus and not too heavy! I recently switched from nikon to Sony because of autofocus issue and so far so good!!!

This is a 1 year after review. Bought this camera last year and have been using it a lot since and let me tell you it’s an amazing camera it holds up well and the high pixels combined with the GM lens gives super sharp and nice pictures. The built of this camera is top quality, the sensor is fast and has a ton of features. It’s a great camera over all

Amazing camera, extremely high resolution and tack sharp. My first mirrorless coming from a Nikon D850 and I couldn’t be happier

I have been a loyal Canon person for many years and thousands of dollars in lenses and equipment, after my son purchased this camera and was able to use it and seeing the difference I was absolutely sold! I quickly went out and purchased it, I have been extremely happy after purchasing this Camera!

Best. Camera. Ever. It's hard to take a bad photo with this camera.... sharp clear clean and crisply focused photos even in low light. I got a 24-105 G and also a 35mm G-master lens for it, perfect for what I need it for. Still trying to decide which telephoto lens to get for it; 100-400 or 200-600.... probably going to settle for the 200-600.

Bought this camera to get into mirrorless cameras and switched from a Nikon SLR. This camera takes a bit getting used to from my Nikon habits, but super capable and easy to use once familiar with the controls. This is heavier than I originally expected it to be, but not in a bad way. A bit pricey, but no so much more when compared with comparable models from competitors.

excellent camera but price is really higher for families use.

Great camera, huge upgrade from my A6000 and A7R2. Battery life is good, about 3/4 of a day depending on how many photos i take. It works well for portraits, wildlife, landscapes. I love the extra crop i can do with the 61Mp if i cant quite get close enough for wildlife. The dinamic range is great if i miss my exposure i can usually save it in post.

This is my first photography camera. Of course as a beginner I still have to learn some of the features but in time I have been capable of making some stellar shots and taking advantage of all it offers! I don’t see this camera depreciating for a while. It’s awesome!

Thats a lot of megapixels, i own a slower computer so i k icked down the resolution size to S;small: to help speed up editing, uploading, and exporting time. This also saves storage size on my sd cards, went from few hundred photos to over 3,500+ photos i can possibly take on one 256gb sd card.
