The Best-In-Class Autofocus

I love that it has a dual-slot design with the same-speed raw image recording. The most recent firmware update from Sony made this camera irreplaceable for me. Quiet shutter + best-in-class eye focusing.

It lends itself to a wide range of photography, from portraiture and landscape work to wedding and events. Its cropped, slow readout 8K video is the only real weakspot in an otherwise hugely capable camera. I love it

Best camera ever.

I am enjoying it so much with, taking beautiful pictures. Landscaping, and even macro photography. I used it to film my anniversary and the footages are stunning.

Great Hybrid Camera!

The improved tracking and 4 axis screen is a welcomed upgrade. Having initial issues with the a7iv, I haven't experienced the same headaches with the a7R V. Even though this isn't the ideal sports camera, I've been to take sharp images in indoor basketball games. The 61mp has helped keep sharp images when I crop images. Recording in 4k60 has produced smooth slomo videos compared to my a7iv. The camera is still beyond my abilities and I hope to grow with it.

The photo quality is just amazing and its so hard to state just how incredible the new Autofocus is. Coming from an A7IV, which was already amazing, it was immediately obvious just how much more capable this was. I feel like no matter where you're coming from, all of the upgrades this camera has over any previous model will make you fall in love with it immediately.

A Camera that’s WORTHY and WORTH IT

When I bought the Sony A7RV all these years of waiting was absolutely worth it! This camera has so many features that it takes you to the next level. Colors are amazing. You choose what ever pixels are better for the type of work you do. For weddings you can choose 26 megapixels and for special moments you can choose 61 megapixels. There are so many features this camera have that I need would need to keep on writting more but if you got the money buy this camera.

Worth the extra $$ over the a7iv

As a videographer, it's my second shooter. I feel it does pretty well in low-light (perhaps similar to the a7sIII). It's my primary photography camera and the resolution is excellent! Honestly the ability to crop in is fantastic!

Picked this over the A7IV

Maybe about 10 years or more depending on what I can get on it. I used to have a canon, well still do but this is such an upgrade. I love that it does well with video and photos. So much to learn.
