I typically shoot with A100 and A900. Heavy weight DSLRs. I wanted something that gives me DSLR quality, versatility .. but at a lighter weight. This fits my needs .. it was also compatible with my wife's Sony NEX-5

I have bought this camera from best buy using store pickup option.Camera is compact , flexible and you will get all the features of big DSLR cameras. the buying experience at best buy using store pickup is really convenient and cool.

Bought this camera on my brother-in-laws recommendation and I am not disappointed. It is a great camera that is a step up from a point and shoot, but still small enough to easily travel with. I have barely scratched the surface on all of the options, but found it very easy to use and a lot of fun as it has rekindled my interest in taking lots of pictures. I would definitely recommend this camera to someone wanting to move up from a point and shoot but not go all the way to a DSLR.

Camera is a very good camera. Takes excellent photos. Very easy to use. It is also light weight for traveling.

This camera is awesome. I'm stepping up my game with this one. Very easy to use. It has several components to perfect your imaging. It has been a great help with my business. Takes remarkable images in almost total darkness with its extraordinary flash. Still finding finding out more and more about this camera.

I picked this camera up as the family was going to the Philippines for the holidays and wanted a versatile camera as I also picked up a wide angle lens from AZ, the camera is easy to use and has a few more bells and whistles than the last Sony I picked up years ago. Picture quality is really good and the default lens works great but which I could pull in a little more. If you can you may want to consider going up to the 6000 series but you shouldn't be disappointed if you pick this model up. Nice easy to use camera that has the option of changing out lenses in a small frame.

This camera is very compact so it's easy to travel with, It's extremely user friendly, and takes AMAZING photos!

We were in the market for a camera for our family. We researched many different brands. We wanted a DSLR camera but they were too bulky and it felt like having another child to be responsible be for during our trip. Then we found out about this camera. It has many of the features of a DSLR, if not somewhat better than a few. It's lightweight, not bulky and not as expensive. It also has a "selfie" screen and wi-fi which sealed the deal for us! Thank you Best Buy and Sony!!!!

I am very pleased with this camera. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, such as how to get to the actual menu I was looking for. Although the pictures I have taken so far have turned out great. I got great shots at a football game even without having it on sport mode.

I bought this camera for my girlfriend to start her Youtube channel and it works fantastic. The quality is great and the audio isn't bad. A few things that I wish it had. First being better battery life. Second, I wish it had the capability to connect a microphone. I believe the version right above this one does have that feature, but this one (from what I've researched) does not have the output for a mic. But I don't want to take away from how fantastic and super cool this camera is. That flip up screen is awesome! And it's touch! Wicked.

We are really enjoying this camera. It's a fit for a beginner and a mid-level photographer. Still haven't learned all of the features yet. Took beautiful pictures of our Colorado vacation!

My husband purchased this for me to take pictures of our new son and I love it! I'm a novice photographer and this camera is so easy to use. In fact, we took our own newborn pictures and they turned out great. We also got the 50mm lens to enhance the portrait images.

I bought this camera because I'm traveling to Europe this summer and wanted a decent camera to take pictures but als be able to use for a long time. This camera is nice in size, not too big like the DSLR cameras and takes very crisp photos. I haven't been able to use it very much but after playing around with it, I already know this was a well worth t purchase. The price was great and it's easy to figure out!

I love this camera so much. I got it as a Christmas gift to myself and don't regret it one bit. The images are amazing and the videos are crystal clear. 10/10

I had quite a few cameras and this is the best one. The flip screen is really convenient to make selfies or take a group photo without letting none out. The soft skin functionality is really good, makes your face in photos flawless. The quality of photos and video is outstanding. Videos sound really good and the stability top of the line. I'm really happy with my purchase. Looking foward to buy additional lenses.

This is a great camera and great quality. Overall, I would highly recommend the camera. The only thing I have issues with is the clips to attach a camera strap always clings when I record. It is not a big issues though. I really like this camera.
