OK, I'll admit it.....I'm a latest tech chasing "h_e". But even I have to admit that the Sony a6000 is the best "bang for your buck" camera out there! If you're just starting out get this camera plus the God inspired 24mmf18 Zeiss. Polish your skills with the above combo for a few years and only then should you move on!

I'm in love with the Sony A6000, especially for traveling.

I call it my little machine gun. Shooting at 11 frames a second, you will definitely have fun with this one. And the continuous focus is amazing.

This product that I got was in good working condition. Very useful.

This Camera it's got a lot of potential, whether is for portraiture or sport works just fine.

I bought this camera so excited about the wifi capabilities. Keep in mind, it requires you to download apps on a computer, the camera, and on the phone for it to function. How obnoxious to begin with. I tried all of this and either the download refused or the apps did not work. After retrying many times, rebooting, reinstalling, etc I got nowhere. I have an iPhone XS, a 2017 Macbook Air, and after many frustrating hours of trying to figure out why nothing’s working, eventually going through Apple and Sony customer support, I find out that the camera is simply not compatible and hasn’t been since Sept of 2018. It’s now July 2019 and nothing has been done to make this camera compatible with all the newer Apple devices and iOS. I decided to return it and had to pay restocking fees ($60+) for something that doesn’t work. A nice kick in the face after dealing with all of that.

I purchased this camera over my Canon T3i DSLR Camera and NEX-3N. I am impressed by its image quality and continuous autofocus for both still and video. I don't have many lens, but I was able to compare between two systems: - Canon t3i with 50mm f/1.8 and 18-55mm kit lens - Sony a6000 + 50mm f/1.8 and 16-50mm kit lens Sony is a clear winner with significant margin. As I am not a pro photographer, I cannot think of any clear reason to buy bulkier DSLR over this little mirrorless camera.

Doesnt even work Why doesnt it say needs lens to WORK in the description??? Im out $100 dollars now.. it says needs lens in the description of the black camera but not gray. I even went into best buy and they didnt tell me i needed a lens for the camera to just to WORK..

The Sony a6000 (2014 release) is now the older, little brother to the Sony a6300 (2016 release). The specs of these two cameras is well reviewed online with detailed information on both. If you are interested in the Sony mirrorless and a small size DSLR camera the only comment I can add is price. Sony and BestBuy pricing has the a6000 body now at about one third the price of the a6300 body when you consider the add-on free items. You can buy 3 a6000's, not that you would, but it sure keeps $$ in your pocket for an extra Sony lens or other items. As an amateur photographer for many years I would certainly consider the a6000. It is still after two years on the market a fantastic camera and one of the best selling small, mirrorless DSLRs out there. You will not be disappointed.
