I have finally found a camera that I will love to bring with me everywhere I go. I have a Canon 6D with some L lenses for my pro gear and really only use them for sessions or special occasions. With the A6000 I can pop it in my purse and have no excuses for not taking great photos whenever I want. The auto focus system in this camera is amazing! Actions shots are breeze to capture and looks like taking movies will be fun too. example photos are with 16-50mm kit lens and no editing except to save for web sizing.

So far very happy with this camera and the lenses. Auto settings take very good pictures and there are plenty of manual options if you are a more experienced photographer. The ability to transfer photos wirelessly is great. The only slight disappointment is the lack of a separate battery charger, but it’s not enough to dock a star.

Exceeded my expectations. The availability, the pick-up, the courteousness- all of it. The camera has surpassed my expectations as far as quality and economy. The images are unparalleled in this price range. RAW files, shutter speed, manual settings- all excellent options. Buy this camera and learn it. Images speak for themselves.

The Sony A6000 is a great camera, takes nice shots and is a pleasure to carry around. It is small and light. The perfect camera to take on vacation.

I got this because I was tired of carrying around a DSLR with assorted lenses. I cant really say anything bad about the Sony a6000. The image quality is excellent. The menus are ok. The controls are intuitive. If I had to pick the worst "feature" it's got to be the documentation. It's had to believe that a company as large as Sony can't hire a few technical writers to produce a useable manual. I'd also recommend Lightroom or Phase one to process the images. Play Memories Home is for snapshots! Overall I'm happy with the camera and lenses included.

I have used this camera and lens a few times so far. It is just as expected and takes nice clear photos. I have not used it much for video yet. It was great at football games and with the lens you can get a decent picture of the moon. I did purchase the attachments needed to put it on our telescope for the upcoming lunar eclipse in November of 2021!

This camera is fantastic the features are endless and being new to photography the camera teaches me new things every time i take it out. I love hiking a the purpose of the camera was to have something light and compact. Being compact is one thing but light its a little heavy on that spectrum. If you dont want to spend to much on a crazy functioning cameras this camera still has plenty to offer and i recommend this camera to anyone

The camera is easy to learn to use & to use. It takes crisp clear pictures.

Recently purchased to take on our Peruvian vacation including 4 days hiking Inca trail. Taking photos is easy and downloading to my iPhone is fast and easy. Cropping photos once on the iPhone is easy. Flight over Nazca lines was hard to take photos so I just took downloaded and cropped to get pretty good shots. I would recommend for somebody who is a beginner or even somebody that has some experience with digital cameras.

I bought this camera a while back and I love it so far, Ive been taking great pictures and really enjoying all the features this camera has to offer. Its very helpful to be able to connect it to your smartphone to be able to transfer all the pictures and be able to control the camera from your phone.

Mirrorless camera batteries don't last as long, so make sure you buy back up batteries. Other than that there are tons of settings and the camera takes excellent pics.

Love the picture quality and ease of use. Just over 1 month and the pixels on the screen and the view finder are going bad. Bought on March 7th, my account says it was non-returnable as of April 1st. That’s not even 30 days, and I’d just like to exchange it. First picture is the screen and 2nd the viewfinder.

I would totally buy this for a family member. I purchased this camera for our trip to Chicago and I can't believe all the great shots I was able to capture with this little camera! It takes such great photos like our Nikon D7100 but without all the extra weight! I'm thinking about picking up another one of these just for my wife it's that great of a camera.

I have only had the camera a short time and used it on one 4-day trip. it was very good for this use. I never encountered a lighting situation where the camera didn't respond immediately. The HDR capability is confusing and I need some more time to learn all of the nuances. I looked at a couple of YouTube videos and the experts all showed different ways to take HDR shots. I bought the book by David Busch and will be learning a lot more. Also, this camera is a lot easier to carry around than my Nikon. The next use will be the eclipse.

I was looking for a camera and was thinking Nikon/ Canon. Someone in store said that Sony has a great camera as well and I'm glad they were there for this pick. The auto focus and superior pic mode are great tools for the beginners. In addition to sports mode where you can capture every moments of those games without any blur! Love it!
