The lenses offered for this camera have a hard time allowing you to see the value of the megapixels. Consider looking at camera and lenses combinations on DXOmark. Best feature is that it is highly portal.

Picked up the Sony a6000 before a three week trip to France and practiced a little before I left but have returned and am extremely pleased with the quality of the pictures. The camera is fairly easy to use after doing a quick read through of the manual and video quality was excellent.

Most of the photos I have taken before I purchased this camera were on my iphone. Picture quality from the phone was very good. So far the picture quality from this camera is excellent. Easy to set up and use. Will look at buying an additional lens and tripod. Very please with my purchase.

This little Sony A6000 meets and exceeds any expectation I had. I end up using it more than our larger cameras now.

very nice camera with extremely fast focus and shooting. Can be a bit small depending on how big your hands are.

Purchased this camera before a trip to Aruba. Used it with the prime 50mm lense. This set up was very portable, light and easy to carry around. The quality of the pictures was very very impressive. I actually upgraded the body when I got back to the next model up because I liked it so much

Excellent Cary around camera for street photography. I will add the 50mm 1.8 E lens for portrait and better Bokae.

I’ve had a Nikon for the longest and wanted to upgrade to something more compact but with the SLR effect. This is a great camera! Very easy to use with crisp pictures! The multi shot is great- especially if you have a little one that cant sit still. I am looking forward to getting an extra lens for it! The best thing is the built in Wi-Fi, I can send the pictures right to my phone or computer for editing with no cords!!

I use this camera for mostly video and its outstanding with good sound. Pictures are great too.

I switched from my old Canon XSI to the A 6000 because I was looking for something a bit smaller. It is taking a me a while to get used to the many different features and the general camera setup but I love the pictures it puts out. I am sure with time I will get accustomed to all its features.

Buying this camera was the smartest decision I ever made. I bought right before my Euro trip, and it took the most amazing pictures. It’s very user friendly and it’s a very comfortable camera to hold. I highly recommend this camera over any other for beginners.

I previously had the Sony a5000 before I decided to upgrade to the a6000. Its a great camera that takes great pictures. Its easy to use, tilt screen is nice and the viewfinder is very helpful in sunny situations when its hard to see the lcd screen. Great autofocus speeds and takes pictures quickly.

This camera is exceptional! We bought is right before our son's wedding and I couldn't be happier with the quality and ease of the camera. Even the professional photographer at the wedding said he has that same camera at home for vacations etc. Love it! I would recommend this camera to anyone.
