This is a great walkabout lens for street and travel photography, love it!

wow, so cool, not only for advanced shooters but also for beginners, my wife is not that into cameras and would not know how to use a dslr camera, this sony has a built in tutorial that shows you how to use the features and gives tips on how to shoot correctly. Speed, it is second to none, fast focus and burst i did my homework online, this camera across the board from all different reviewers gets awesome reviews, highly recomend.

This camera takes good pictures but it's a bit too much for a beginner. The instruction manual is only mildly helpful. The U-Tube videos are helpful but it best if a beginner can start taking photos right away. It takes some practice to get the feel for the automatic focus process; holding the trigger half way down is kind of hard to judge at first. I like that it's easy to transfer photos to the computer; haven't yet figured out how to set up the WI-FI so the transfer happens automatically. Overall, this is a good camera but there is a lot to it and i'm afraid that by the time I learn how to use it well it will be outdated.

Love this camera. It is so compact for a professional camera. Takes awesome pictures. The only problem that i found so far is that the on and of button is so similar to the zoom in many digital camera and easy to forget to turn of, Therefore the battery runs out of power fast.

I bought this camera as a gift to my daughter to be a camera to begin to explore photography now through college and hopefully beyond. It is very versatile and i hope it will be all she needs for a very long time. Was fairly easy to download the associated software and import pictures. So far she has been very happy with it.

This is an awesome camera. Very easy to use in the basic mode but also has huge flexibility to operate as a professional camera.

It did everything I could imagine and more...I started with the a5000, but bought this one as an open box item after my last camera was stolen. I couldn't be more pleased.

Purchased this camera for our grand daughter who is a foreign exchange student. It has provided excellent pictures for us to view at home. The size of the unit works out very well for travel. The Wi-Fi feature makes sending pictures a snap.
