Best 500$ ever spent and bests camera for the money

I like this camera, since it is not that hard to be used for a beginner. The specification of this camera is quite good, in addition to a competitive price compared to the other brand with the same specification.

Bought this for a trip to Europe, was going to return it after. Once I used it, I would never return it. Easy to use, yet plenty of options for more experienced photographers. Great photos, crazy fast, simply great.

This is my first camera and I love it. It is very user friendly and offers insights on how to get desired pictures. The photos have all come out amazing and I definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this as a portable camera with features to personalize for a road trip to visit national parks. It's easy to use from the get go. I wanted something that was compact like a "point and shoot" and easy to program - this fit the bill. Focusing on auto setting is quick, no fuss. Panoramic is great. I had to get use to the the quicker, sometimes slower movement for shooting the pano. One thing that is annoying is a black bar that shows up when panning up or down. The screen is difficult to see in bright sunlight. Overall, easy to program out of the box, quick focus, lightweight and compact enough to fit in a purse or backpack.

I LOVE THIS CAMERA! I just wish it had a touch screen. Honestly other than that, it’s meant for shooting and shooting only. Feels so good in the hand to.

It's a nice camera. There is a learning curve to figuring it out, but not too bad. Very user friendly once you figure it out.

This camera is a beauty, as small and compact as it is it works better than most dslr’s although the kit lens it comes with isn’t the best you can pull off amazing things with it

Having had a Sony before made it easier to navigate through this model. But the upgrade its surely noticeable. It’s easy to navigate and the picture quality it’s amazing crisp and sharp. It’s still having problems with the WiFi option to with was the sole purpose of my purchase. The WiFi part it’s a little more complicated to navigate to send the pictures it’s seems I have to continuously input the same info again but I hope it’s just that I’m doing something wrong at least I hope. The cool part about it I got and email were Best Buy provides class for this camera to get more familiar with it. Looking forward to class Love the camera so far.

The sales woman who helped me buy my Sony camera was exceptionally helpful and I love it! But I need help taking advantage of the features. Best Buy did schedule a class, that I couldn't make. They haven't scheduled another one for several months. I know that it is not Best buy's responsibility, but what a way to encourage us beginners to upgrade.

After reviewing several DSLR's I decided to go mirror less and will not be looking back. The Sony a6000 is fast, light and will no doubt serve me well. Can't wait to add some new lens configurations to round out my kit
