Sharp and easy to use. Love the pensé that comes with it. But need to buy an automatic lense with it.

Exceeded my expectations with the amount of features. Definitely can compete with most entry level dslrs. Gary Fong has some great videos on YouTube that go through it's features.

This camera is very handy, you can just put it in your bag and take it with you anywhere. It comes with lens kit which is good range for general use. Picture's color is also nice.

I've taken about 1000 pictures in all types of light conditions ,and it is great. I've taken pictures of people, nature, and airplanes flying overhead ,great clarity and speed.

As an amateur I have found this is a excellent camera. The photos are clear and sharp. Colors are realistic. It is easy to set-up and to use. I have had no problems with the camera.

I have been a proud owner of Nikon DSLR cameras for years. I own many Nikon lenses too. However, I have to say that I am impressed with what this Sony mirrorless can do. First, you do notice the weight difference. These mirrorless cameras will be a lot easier to carry around, which may not be a big deal for someone who will drive to a place and take photos but for walking to the place or riding a bicycle, it makes a lot of difference. I primarily got this camera for underwater photography, with an enclosure of course, due to its extremely fast autofocus, which beats all of my Nikon cameras.

I'm not a seasoned photographer but wanted more then simple point and shoot. This camera was easy to use.

I finally upgraded from my old Cannon SLR to the Sony Alpha a6000 and the difference is amazing. The size of the camera and the weight are literally half that of my old camera, making it easier to carry (translation: more likely that I'll carry). The Pictures are super clear and I can now shoot HD video! I use to have to use my pocket sized Olympus for video, this is much better quality and zoom, and I don't have to change cameras. I recommend the 55-210mm lens and a large SD card with 80mb/s or better.

whether you have photography experience or not this camera is great, easy to learn, has a built in tutorial section in the menu, and of course takes excellent pictures

For the money this a6000 is the best you can get. I would however recommend you save a little money and get a decent prime lens for the perfect match. Cheers!
