The camera was so easy to carry around on our trip to Germany. the 11 flash per second was just awesome.

Carrying a big DSLR around was getting less and less attractive. This camera has a nice balance of features and size/weight to consider taking on every trip.

The Sony alpha a6000 is an amazing camera for a beginer not only because of it's crystal clear pictures it take but also it's small and easy if you are on the go.

Upgrading from a point and shoot camera, takes a little get used to this, but the auto mode really helps.

This kit is great for anyone generally. Use the kit lens for a while to get a general range of the type of photography you would like. This body, matched with the right lens, can do things cameras that cost 3 to 5 times as much can do. You won't regret it.

Great camera i use it for everything. Just a little big for your pants pocket but cargo shorts are good.

Love the camera. It's easy to use and I love that I can sync it to my phone instead of having to go to my computer first. Pictures turn out clear. Only issue I am having is when I turn it on or off these is sometimes a lag.

Upgraded from an older Sony nex5 and am not disappointed. No more touch screen on this model and it has more a learning curve but picture quality is great

Love this camera, I have done my fair research before purchasing so I knew what to expect and not to expect. Just go on youtube for recent reviews...if you're scared of transitioning to mirrorless this is a good first camera to try. It's cheap, lots of lenses coming out now for the e-mount, a lot of pros even use this as their main body, and the image quality is so crisp, i really have no complaints. For video work you might want to look at the 6300 or 6500..I bought mine for stills. Anyway, buy this camera you won't regret it, best buy has some of the best deals out there..you won't regret it.

So far, I have had a lot of fun with this camera! I definitely think you are going to need some more lenses than the kit one pretty much immediately. So research that, and look forward to having a great time with a comfortable, lightweight, and fast camera!

I love my Sony RX 100 so when I needed a camera with interchangeable lens, I looked at the Sony line up. Being familiar with the brand, I like the familiarity of the controls and I like the quality of the pictures. When I used it for my trip I did not like that the it was hard to see on the TFT display on bright sun and the viewfinder was the same. When I got home I found out that there was a setting for sunny day for the display and the viewfinder brightness can be adjusted manually from automatic setting. Since then I still have to try it out outside in the sun. I am hoping that with those adjustments it will be better. Other than those two issues I am satisfied with my purchase, it was lighter than DSLR with the convenience of one, takes good pictures in low light. I had never used my flash so far even at night time.

Great Camera So Far I am really enjoying the quality of this camera. Went for the a6000 due to availability and store not having the middle range camera, but I'm glad I did. This thing is awesome and exceeds the quality of a Nikon and a Canon Digital SLR currently in my inventory

I bought this camera to try out filming as a hobby and the features are fairly easy to use, plus the quality of the video and pictures are great too

Really like the camera, especially for macro photography. Ease of handling, lightweight, 'what you see is what you get' with very little shutter motion or delay.

I literally was torn between the selfie a5100 or the a6000. But to be honest, after one day of taking it out into the sunny atmosphere I quickly learned that the view finder was completely useful! I definitely do not regret spending $100 more on a purchase compared to the a5100.
