I bought this camera for astrophotography, and have used it for a lot of landscape shots to test performance. It Totally blew me away! this thing is powerful and takes incredible pics. If you go on you tube you can get the right settings from a pro for free and take amazing photos. I cant say enough this is a bargain at this price!!

Bought for my girlfriends birthday. She loves it. Not too expensive and easy to use. Plenty of features for more serious photographers.

I am amazed at the quality of photos this camera takes. It makes an amature photographer look professional. Great price for the camera rounds out its greatness.

This was just what I wanted. Not too big and easy to use. Love the fact that it sends photos wirelessly! I still use a viewfinder and this one has it!

This is an awesome camera for my first camera its so easy to use and takes some pretty awsome pictures could not be happier with this purchase.

I am an old school photographer (darkroom trained and I also used to shoot a lot in medium format) but after shooting with this camera - I don't see myself going back to a "normal" DSLR.

The menu is complex. Limited, (but improving) choice of lenses. Poor instruction manual. I'm still figuring it out, but I really like the camera. Not good for a beginner, although it is simple to use in Program mode.

This camera gets glowing reviews and it is a few years old. Yes, it's great for a beginner, but I don't know why an advanced user wouldn't want it as well. If it's being used for video I would probably recommend the 6300 or 6500 since this doesn't have 4k. I use it strictly for stills. I do real estate photography and landscapes and architecture as a hobby and this camera works extremely well for those purposes. The kit lenses are just fine for most people. I have added a couple to my arsenal for select purposes, but I have gotten some great images with the kit lenses.

This camera has so many features that is sure to make even a beginner seem like a pro! Absolutely love my new Sony a6000! The only downfall to this particular product is the absence of the external microphone jack, other than that...Great Camera!

I got this camera for my daughter, its awesome. Its not the highest level one and she didn't want that but as far as quality per dollar spent its an A+!!!

Bought the camera during the holiday sales at a good discount. It replaced an older Sony A77 camera. This processes fast and has great resolution. But the lens that comes with it is pretty basic. Its good, but there are better. Don't get the camera just for the lens.

The YouTube videos are great and once I knew the symbols I was ready to go. It takes great auto pictures or you can easily adjust for special shots. Love the weight even with a larger lense. Would definitely recommend to someone upgrading from a point and shoot.

I used to be a Canon fanatic, but the amazing features, light-weight, ease of use and image quality I am able to pull out of this beauty is simply mind blowing.

Camera focuses fast, as advertised. Many, many features. Need to use YouTube videos to learn about the features and the best way to use them.

I took this super light camera on vacation to Europe. So easy to use and pics are absolutely gorgeous! My pictures of a wedding are studio quality!!

I couldn't have made a better choice buying the A6000, the photo quality is excellent, and great ease of use right out of box. I highly recommend it.
