Easy to use nice pictures. Great camera for beginners

An entry level mirrorless camera without the lack of features in an entry level camera. High-end features, fast shutter action and well laid out buttons and menus. This is a APS-C sensor. Meaning, in the most simplest terms that if you are taking a panoramic view the image will be "cropped" . Ideally we all want the best image and a "full frame" sensor will accomplish this. However, don't allow the cropped sensor dissuade you from buying this camera--soon all cameras will be mirrorless and this entry level camera has professional features and attributes. After playing around with this camera for a few months I am seeking a Sony full frame camera to fulfill my desire for greatness. Small in stature, fantastic in performance.

this is an excellent camera for its size it's a mirorless DSLR. It takes absolutely excellent low light pictures. It has plenty of "auto" features for the camera novices such as: - panaromic, sunset scene, night landscape, etc - intelligent "auto" feature == another auto feature that is slightly smarter and try to interpret the scene It also has a host of "pro" features for the experts so they can tweak iso, shutter, aperture, white balance, exposure compensation, etc to their heart content. Absolutely love this camera!!! It's a huge step up from Sony Nex 5N. My camera history: point and shoot --> Sony Nex 5N (good camera) --> Sony a6000 (favorite camera, feature full, but not too heavy on both size and budget).

I originally was going to go for the a5100 but I'm so happy I didn't. The a6000 is so awesome. It takes better quality photos than my Canon 10d. And the video quality is the cherry on top. I'm in love with it.

Sony a6000. This camera has all the features I wanted and many more. I love it. I traded my Panasonic and will never look back. It was purchased as a travel camera but has become my everything camera.

The new mirrorless technology is wonderful. Makes the camera very light but still takes fabulous, sharp pictures. This camera has very option you will need. Love the tutorial options built into the camera.

I would recommend the a6000 to beginners.Fast continuous shooting and autofocus, compact body Multiple custom control options Above-average image quality Excellent low-light performance.

Information booklet was not at all helpful on connecting Wifi

I had my mind set on a cannon going in then the guy at the store showed me the Sony and I looked in to it and it was great it is worth the buy I'm not a huge camera guy but I starting to get In to it its is worth it

I just recently bought the camera and took it for a test run. This camera take really color and crisp photos in the day time. The OSS feature does a good job in stabilizing. The camera is really quick as well.

This camera packs a huge punch. It's compact enough to carry with me everyday and strong enough to replace my dslr. I haven't touch my dslr in a few weeks. Lots of lenses to choose from are always a plus.
