The camera functions just as a DSLR, but faster! Buy the kit with 2 lens, as we did not and now we are purchasing the additional zoom lens.

It took me a while to get used to the settings but i'm having a lot of fun. The features are amazing and absolutely loved the "raw" shoot setting when I was in Paris. The mirrorless makes it convenient when I try to shoot from a lower angle. I really wish the screen goes all the way up for a 180 degree so I can look at what I am taking a picture of but it doesn't. Other than that, its a really good camera for a starter like me.
