We purchased this camera after retiring the lower model in this series and are optimistic that we'll get some great night shots with this one. This camera came highly recommended and we're looking forward to really testing it in various setups-high speed and low light, specifically. So far it's done great in milder conditions–hoping for great things as we push it in more extreme environments!

Bought this based on reviews and have loved it! Took it on a European trip and it was perfect. Compact enough to keep in my day pack with other items. Great quality for memorable photos.

Back when this first came out in 14’ it was an amazing camera. My friend allowed me to go take photos with him when he had this. I wasn’t into photography at the time and now I am as a hobby. This camera is still awesome today. The menu is definitely a little confusing and a lot to take in but honestly just watch a view YouTube videos explaining it and you’ll be good. Also, don’t miss out on the deal with the extra lens. Even if you think you do not need it. Trust me. If you catch on fast you’ll need it. That was my biggest mistake.

This is a great small camera. My daughter is learning photography and will be traveling. She loves the ability to put this in her purse so it is with her all the time.

As a relatively new photographer I am so amazed at how simple and user friendly this camera is!! The lens and zoom features are absolutely stunning! I love everything about this camera!

Awesome camera!!! Easy to use. Very satisfied! Took some time to get use to the camera but after understanding the different settings made everything a lot easier. Beautiful pictures!

I replaced my old sony dslr with this new compact camera. Great performance and much lighter and smaller to carry it around.

This Camera is Great Its smaller than a DSLR and it provides image quality comparable to the Nikon D5200 and D5300. I am very happy with this purchase. Very Compact and a great view finder. Buy Extra Batteries tho as the battery dies quick

Such a great camera. I was suggested to purchase this camera by a friend who is into photography. The mirrorless camera allows for a lightweight body that can be easily transported everywhere. I bought this camera to takes pictures of landscapes and a canoe/kayak race in the Yukon. Every professional photographer at the event had this camera or one similar and loved it. The interchangeable lenses is a plus and allows for more diversity in taking pictures. Would recommend this camera to anyone who is just beginning to dip their toes in photography or for the advanced photographer.

I purchased this camera for multiple reasons, the first being that it excels in video quality over any DSLR in this price range and I stand by that firmly. As far as photography goes, the quality this camera produces is outstanding and gets even better as you learn all of the functions this camera has to offer. I have already purchased an adapter for other lenses as Sony doesn't offer a ton of options but it's pretty easy to get a Canon or Nikon lens on this camera with a $20 adapter. I highly recommend this camera for anyone looking for a DSLR quality interchangeable lens camera that has exceptional video quality and a much smaller frame.

Great camera. Very user friendly and takes quality pictures. The only down side is the screen on the back doesn't flip all the way around in case you want to see what you are recording.

A full year and several vacations later, I can say I am thoroughly impressed with this camera and the available lenses. This camera performs tremendously and the images captured are priceless for me. I cannot recommend this camera and the supporting ecosystem highly enough

A Very good beginner camera for a good price but don't expect to produce award winning films or anything further than a basic vlog!

Bought this camera for action shots of my boys playing sports and love it! I went to buy a DSLR and was shown this model also and am so glad I went with this one.

I was looking for easy to use, fast response time and good quality images. This camera far exceeded my expectations. I had previously used a traditional DSLR. I highly recommend this camera.

Exceeded my expectations with the amount of features. Definitely can compete with most entry level dslrs. Gary Fong has some great videos on YouTube that go through it's features.
