I've owned many cameras and dslr cameras over the years. I've always gravitated to Sony for the price and build quality. That being said this is still one of the best and fastest cameras I've ever owned.

Lightweight for backpacking. Easy to use. Excellent quality. I’m very happy with it. I do recommend a screen protector as it scratches easily.

I bought this camera in an open box deal. i already own a Sony A7 but I wanted a smaller camera when I am on the go. I owned the original NEX 5 and that camera was great. This camera's functionality is incredible. I compared pics with my A7 and the differences are near the same except the A7 does take better night pics. Then again the A7 has a bigger sensor and a better lens. It is a breeze to transfer pics to your phone with the Sony app. The camera can take about 200 pics with the standard battery. The camera has some automatically settings to assist with picture taking.

Video quality is amazing! This camera is the perfect travel camera. One you can grab and take with you without hassle. And the quality is great too.

I'm a novice photographer at best, went to purchase a basic digital camera and walked out with this. Granted, I was in the market for a camera with a lot of capabilities ... point & shoot, long distance, compatible with iPhone & video. I haven't regretted it at all.

The Sony a6000 is a fast camera running with new technology that Canon and Nikon can't beat. It comes with a viewfinder, 24.3 MP, and all the important modes you need like shutter priority, aperture, and manual mode. I'm slowly transitioning from Canon to Sony.

It's a big improvement over my A300. Should have bought this camera sooner.

Easy to use and takes beautiful pictures. Uploading to computer or phone is a great feature and simple to do.

Have owned Canon and another Sony model, wanted small lighweight camera with changeable lens, this far exceeds my expectations and my first mirror less camera, it's great and has captured some rich, detailed photos.

Just came back from a trip to Iceland. This camera was able to shoot great pictures in all lighting settings and was super quick, which was great for snapping pictures while in route. The only thing I wish Sony would make is a more comprehensive lens (22-300).

Bought for a teenage daughter getting into photography. The size is so much better than my old SLR with room to explore advanced features.

Camera takes wonderful images, even though it's a crop sensor, and its compact. Second Sony I have had and I'm definitely a fan!
