Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the camera's quality, ease of use, and compact size and weight, making it a convenient option. The camera's 4K capabilities, low light performance, and fast autofocus are also well-received. However, customers are negative about the battery life and overheating issues, especially when shooting video, and some find the menu system difficult to navigate and would like a touch screen.

Best mirrorless camera in this price range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a great deal of research before deciding to purchase this camera. Although it may be slightly more expensive than others with similar feature sets, it's well worth it. It has a ton of features that make the camera enjoyable to use for those new photography as well as professionals. I'm new to video, but the quality of the video this takes is fantastic. I would recommend looking at online review sites (e.g. dpreview.com and steve's digicams) for more in-depth reviews.

Great for Beginner or Expert
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera has gone above and beyond all of my expectations. I know my way around a camera pretty well and the ease of use and functionality are superb. Even tho I know how to manually use a camera the Auto setting on this model is great, sports will shoot amazing fast paced action shots, and the intelligent auto feature is great for shooting on the go. Not to mention it can shoot 120fps in 1080 video footage also to top it all off. 10 out of 10 in my book.

Best camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing camera, the quality of the photos delivered is great. If you know how to use it this camera will last you for a very long time. ISO performance is top notch for being a crop sensor but honestly high ISO is not a concern for me. The only reason for an upgrade would be for a full frame and/or touch screen but otherwise this camera is fantastic.

Great lightweight camera for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a large Digital SLR and a lot of large lenses. I was preparing for a trip and didn't want to pack all my camera gear. After extensive research I chose this camera. It is lightweight, has pro settings, good quality, and interchangeable lenses. I loved using it on my trip and take it everywhere I go now. I will still keep my full frame DSLR for other purposes, but what an amazing camera for the size. I plan on buying a few more E series lenses now.

Great camera, but be aware of limitations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this camera both for photography and video. Just be aware of the limitations of the system. The battery included will last you just over an hour for video, or about 350 or so photos, also there have been reports of overheating when shooting 4k videos for 20 minutes or longer. There are work arounds, but if doing vlogs or even videos you need to be aware of the limitations.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony A6300 is the first mirrorless camera I have tried and I am extremely impressed with the images. I was late in accepting the conversion from film to digital; I was even more hesitant to switch mirrorless. This camera produces incredible images that will not dissapoint. As with all things new, there is a learning curve to customizing your settings; however, the program settings are excellent. I have NO CONS at this point.

Fantastic Camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was to replace my Lumix and has been a great addition to the family! Just note that Sony lenses are really hard to find in the low 10-16mm that are not a million dollars and are over F4.0! I am still looking for one. If you are looking for a Full Frame camera with a low MM lens, stay away from this one. I should have gone with a full frame camera, but I really like the mirrorless Sony A6300 and the cage for it.

Great Mirrorless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I downgraded from a Sony a7ii to the a6300 because I was willing to give up the full frame performance for a smaller size camera and faster focusing. The ISO performance of this camera feels comparable to the a7ii in photo but definitely beats the performance of that in video. I'm using a Sandisk Extreme Pro (90MB/s write) on this camera and I feel like the buffer doesn't clear as fast as I would hope. If recording video definitely get a lens with OSS.

One of the best values on the market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If my budget for a camera body was $1000, this is the camera I'd buy every time. This thing is loaded with features, but the 2 that standout the most are the autofocus and the 4k recording capabilities. No complaints with autofocus, it's extremely fast and accurate. The reason I'm not giving this product 5 stars is because of the fact that many will buy this camera for its 4k capabilities and be disappointed with the rolling shutter experienced during 4k recording. If you do not plan on recording 4k handheld, then this maybe the camera for you. This is my only gripe, I still feel you get a lot given the price range. I would've given this product 4.5 stars if given the option.

A Sony Convert
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've avoided Sony cameras for years. Been either a Nikon DSLR or a Canon G16. Well, the G16 failed, and my DSLR was showing its age, and went for a replacement. I took a chance on the Sony 6300, and am very happy I did. A nice mix of great photos without the weight and size of my DSLR. The one compromise is it isn't quite as fast as my DSLR, but put it in Sport mode, and it'll capture everything you want!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it. You can always pay more or get one camera for video and one for stills. This is a great camera that dose both it small and light great on trips. Small is also good for people doing weddings as you not taking out a tank. You almost blend in with everyone at the party. There are lots of reviews so I recommend if you like read them I not restateing what they said. I enjoy it. All so it a good size and good weigh.
