Camera is seriously amazing. I love how light it is compared to other canon cameras. Sony did a very good job with this product, I'm actually looking to get another camera by Sony as well. This was my first dslr and I'm loving it every second

This is a lightweight camera that exceeds the capabilities of cameras 3 times the size and weight. The image stabilization in body, touch screen focus, and a nice lens line up make it a great choice for travel and wildlife.

I am a beginner at photography and got this camera for our honeymoon. It has been great! It is not heavy so can easily carry it around and with the Sony - 35mm f/1.8 Prime Lens, it takes great pictures.

I love my Sony A6500. Hands down I believe it's small enough to carry and easy to use. The package I got was a amazing deal. The photos off my Sony are way better than my sons .. #TeamSonyA6500

The a6500 is a small, but powerful camera. This camera allows me to do my photography without any worries of failure. I've been using the camera along with my zeiss 55mm lens, and the photos are fantastic.

Upgraded from the A6300 to this and I'm very happy I did. The IBIS and touch screen is well worth the difference in price in my opinion.Image quality is outstanding with the 16-70mm f4 Sony/Zeiss.

This camera is worth it. The picture quality is great & also the 4k video quality is on point. Only thing is the touch screen isn't exactly touch screen. Other than that it's a great purchase

Video out of this camera is simply superb, it did a bunch of free events with this and people were simply surprised by the video quality. The only draw back of this is the battery life which is terrible, but you have bunch of options on how to over come that problem, you can charge it via a portable battery or use a continuous power supply using 3rd party options.

All I can say is WOW! Great pics and video!!! It's small enough to take anywhere but produces better pics than most DSLR. The only problem is the price for great lens.

It's a great camera that has a few great features. My only issue is that it drains the batteries super quick I have to bring along 4 batteries for a full days shoot. I mean yeah its managing 4k video and raw files 24/7 but eh it would just be nice if it did t suck the life of of my batteries after a couple hours.

This camera has been around for 3 years (came out in 2016). Surprisingly it is still one of the top mirrorless cameras even after 3 years! Sony will most likely come out with a more advanced model this year but that should not stop you from buying it because it's is so good. Usually newer models will cost alot more so hopefully you can pick up an open box A6500 for under a $1000. I would recommend you stay away from the kit lenses (bundled with the camera) and instead get the Sony 18-105mm and Sigma 16mm and 30mm lenses and you're set!

Best Camera Ever! Even My Wife Can Use It!

This is the best camera we have every gotten! Even the wife can use it without complaining about how its not working how she wants it to. All of our other DSLRs would work well but never be perfect (our fault for not knowing) so she wouldn't take pictures with them since it just brought on more frustrations. Only draw back is that it really dose suck juice. I mean like very quickly especially when taking videos. I didn't believe it myself until I saw how this would take off the battery percentage like it was a count down to something. So get extra batteries or an external power bank.

I purchased this camera after having used my a6000 for one year, and am impressed by the improvements that have been made. I find that the autofocus is snappy, the image quality is improved (particularly at higher ISOs), and the build quality also feels more robust and durable. The lens mount in particular feels sturdy and more able to withstand the weight of heavier lenses. I appreciate that the a6500 has the silent shutter option, as I mainly photograph birds and wildlife. Very happy with this purchase!
