I used to own the a6000 that I purchased when it first released. Fell in love with it and kept it for years until I recently sold it last month (may 2018). I then bought the a6500 and I have to say, I’m in love with it even more. It’s just like my a6000 but upgraded. It’s like it grow up. EXCELLENT CAMERA!

The a6500 has intuitive features for great photos and is very easy to use. Photos are sharp and the stabilization feature helps those quick shots look like it was on a tripod. The low light photos are clear and sharp. I feel this is the best mirrorless Crop sensor camera ok the market.

The price point is decent but the photo quality and video are immaculate. Don’t be fooled by its size this thing packs a punch. I bought this camera as a backup for my A7III and it’s pretty much the same minus it’s crop sensor. I take it everywhere with me.

This is the best camera i’ve ever owned, also the best all-around camera on the market at the time i’m writing this review based on my personal opinion and in-depth research. For numerous of reasons, namely that for it’s price, it offers a lot more than its teer competitors, and even more features than a7 and a9.

Real clean and sharp pictures this camera takes. It compact and small but it is very powerful. For a beginner and a intermediate individual this camera is perfect for you. Make Shure you have extra Batteries and external charger.

I had my eye on this camera for a year almost. I kept telling myself that I didn't need it because I have a 5d Mark III. I finally bought it because I was tired of thinking "if only I had that Sony" and I am so glad I did! Love being able to have it with me in my purse all the time

This camera is awesome! Has many great features especially the built in 5 axis stabilization that can be used with any camera lens including non Sony lenses. If you’re not going to shell out the $$$ for the A7III then this is the next best thing

Great high level camera for all levels of photographers. The quality is head and shoulders above A6000 which is what I upgraded from. The A6000 is great but A6500 is way better in speed, build quality, and capabilities. The pictures are definitely professional level.

My Daughter loves my Sony a6500 so much I decided to get her this one as a starter. Great speed and control. Lots of features and perfect for someone just starting out with photography. Love the retractable lens and didn't need to dish out any extra for another one.

I got this camera as an upgrade to my a6000. The touch screen feature and IBIS are worth the upgrade. Love this camera. I've had this camera for over a year now and am still in love with it.

Simply put, the Sony a6500 is the benchmark for quality among reasonably priced mirrorless, 4k video, and high quality photo cameras. Photos are crisp and clear and video is fantastic with the in body stabilization on hand held shots.

the a6000 has a lot of deals going on these days so I would almost be tempted to grab that one as a back up camera. I have upgraded to the a9 so this is now my back up camera that I can trust to do a good job when needed.

Takes really good photos and videos. Wish the touch screen is actually a touch screen.

The Sony A6500 is great for stills and video. It's size is perfect for traveling. I would recommend it to anyone.
