Although overshadowed by its bigger brother a7rii, the a7ii is still great. I find working with 24 megapixel files more manageable to work with. The in-body image stabilization and the ability to use legacy lenses from other manufacturers (with adapters), makes for a great photography experience. Even for those who don't care about vintage glass, Sony has definitely increased their lens lineup. Overall I am enjoying the camera very much.

Very clear shots and for a beginner in photography it was very easy to use

I bought this camera as an upgrade to the original A7. The in-body stabilization makes the Mark II far superior to the original. The image quality is the same, but there is massive improvement on handheld shots taken with lenses that do not have built-in stabilization - especially in low light with longer shutter speeds.

Perfect for my largest lens and a great easy to use camera - pictures are fantastic and quick change lens perfect.

Take photos that look good. Good in low light ...good for making adult movies too.

I am very impressed with all aspects of this great camera. I moved up from a a6000, and felt a very natural evolution. This gave me all of the features I enjoyed with my a6000, with addition of many more. It is quite amazing the impact that the full frame body and sensor add to the picture quality and shooting experience. If you are looking to take your photography to the next level I highly recommend this camera.

For all the Nikons I’ve owned this is lighter quicker and much better for video

Same 5 Star overall sharpness and outstanding quality of the A7, but the vibration reduction feature on this camera provides a tremendous advantage especially with longer focal lengths. With my SEL 70-200mm lens zoomed out (especially in APS-C mode), this is really critical in mitigating camera shake. Works great with all my other SEL lenses making it a super versatile lightweight camera.

Great Camera, would recommend getting it used. If you have the cash and it is on sale $900 isn't a bad deal but I would look for a used one.

The Sony A7 II is an amazing camera. One plus for me is the 5 axis in body stabilization. I have used the Canon 5DMKIII but I am seriously thinking of making the switch to Sony. I also like the fact that with adapters you can add other lenses to your Sony line up. I have gotten some great glass from old Russian screw mount lenses. I can also use all of my Canon lenses on this camera.

Would highly recommend for those who are looking to gain some experience in this field.

There is a reason why Canon and Nikon (Nikon is hurting internally right now and Sony is circling them) latest iterations were met with lukewarm reception (looking at you Canon 5D Mk IV) because once you go mirrorless, you won't go back, esp with the growing inventory of native Sony lenses (including Zeiss). The first you should buy a Sony full-frame is the legendary Zeiss 55 F1.8.

Bought the A7II "used" for a great price from Best Buy. It came with the original box and all the proper contents. The camera looked brand new, so it was most likely a return. So far I love it. It was an upgrade from a NEX-6. Amazing FF camera for the money!

This camera is perfect for my needs. It's small, has quality images, quality build and it's beautiful! The only downside to this camera is how pricey Sony glass is. I know you can get an adapter for other brand lenses, but I like sticking to match camera with lens brand. This is the perfect travel camera, but it just takes some getting used to after shooting with a DSLR prior to this.

Wonderful lightweight full frame. The images look professional when I am an amateur!
