Have had the camera for two years and have been able to capture some great moments with great quality of a photo. Carry the camera around while roaming and have been able to get the great candid shots! Still have much to learn and glad to have this as my biginner camera.

I am so excited about this new purchase! I am able to shoot in much lower light and it fits into my dive housing. My test shots alone have been of great quality so I can't wait to take it on some new adventures!

Although there was a learning curve after using a Canon for so many years the fine detail and stunning color of pictures with the Sony Alpha a7ii is amazing! Especially coupled with a 300 mm zoom lens it is spectacular for capturing true to color portraits, scenes, action shots and my favorite....birds! Even taking shots from a distance and printing up to 13x19 prints the details down to the feathers, eyes and toenails of my favorite creatures are amazing. This is my second Sony Alpha7ii camera as I flipped my kayak unexpectantly while shooting photos and happy to have another.....

Great camera for beginners such as myself. Easy to use and takes great shots! I watched many reviews on different cameras and this one was the winner. After my first shots, it does not disappoint!

I bought this as an entry camera. I love it. I just ordered 2 new lenses for it. Quick, easy wireless photo transfer. I did a kitten photoshoot this weekend, and I can see my reflection in the kitten's eyes. Very clear photos.

Love this camera. Battery drains super fast but it’s worth it because the picture quality is super good. I recommend buying an external flash with the camera

The camera is amazing...easy set up. easy to learn. best starter camera....but if you would want a better blurry background you need a different type of lens other than stock lens. other than that it does great photos

We went into the store for a Nikon and went out with a Sony. So many more features for the money. Yes, it came with many manuals but the videos online were a great way to get acquainted with the many features. The salesman at Best Buy was terrific at making sure we had everything to protect and get the most out of the type of photos we wanted to take, right down to lens and camera backpack. He was extremely knowledgeable and really helped us to get started. From the very first photos we were amazed at this camera.

This is an excellent camera out of the box, even with the standard kit lens. I've never had a mirrorless before, and was a little worried about the battery life. I went ahead and invested in a battery grip and spare batteries and so far, battery life has not been an issue. The features on the camera are excellent and it produces phenomenal images. I take photos mainly for my work related things, and lots of pets. Even though this camera was first introduced in 2014, this is still a phenomenal camera for the price point.

I switched out the Sony alpha 6100 for this camera and I have to say I am very impressed. Pictures are superb with the lens it came with. Recently order a flash(since it doesn’t come with the camera). I also ordered a 50mm lens because I’m starting baby photography. I am already having fun with this camera. YouTube this camera and it’s perks. Very good deal !

Awesome camera for someone who is starting photography. Kit lens's are good for starters. Shot my family members wedding used a 50mm lense that’s around 140 in Amazon great first starter lense too

This camera shoots stunning photos and handles lowlight extremely well. All the sony lenses offered other than the kit are extremely sharp.

Read so many reviews about sony mirrorless compared to DSLRs. I'm so glad I went mirrorless. So much easier to use, love the electronic viewfinder, and produces great quality photos. The A7ii is also rated the most well rounded sony mirrorless for the price, taking into consideration ISO performance and focusing system.

It's a little confusing to figure out all the buttons and what they are for but it's a GREAT camera and I've gotten some AMAZING shots with it!

An incredibly capable full-frame mirrorless camera for its day and for today. The a7 ii only loses a star because of Sony's poor update support, and because the a7ii has only one SD slot where the a7iii was finally given dual memory card slots. A bit pricy when considering the a7iii or a7r ii are also out and a bit reduced in price.

I was hesitant at first spending this much money on my first camera, but looking back I don’t regret it one bit. I’ve loved getting to know how to use it better! Solid choice of camera!
