This Camera Surpassed my expectations for a full frame DSLR camera for a reasonable price. Great for all video and portrait projects. will try to update as I get to work with it some more.

I have been a long Nikon user having had numerous lenses. I switch to the Sony Merlis camera and have been extremely happy. The video is outstanding and blue light pictures are awesome

This camera has the specs to de-throne many Nikon/Canon DSLRs. I love this camera for its portability and jam-packed features. The photo and video features are fantastic and pro-grade.

I upgraded from the Sony a6000. I'm very happy with the a7iii. I can do way more with this camera than I could with the a6000. This camera is great for both photo and video.

I love this camera. I love it for photos and video. I love it for everything it does. 2 SD card slots with 1 slot being SII speeds which is amazing. It does beautiful photos and beautful video and I haven't had the first problem. This camera is super worth it. I was going to get a sony a6500 but for the price this camera is worth stepping up. It's not just a basic model it's fantastic and fully professional grade. If someone is looking for their first camera and can spend some money or a seasoned pro wanting another camera body then GET THIS! .....unless you want the more expensive version that does 42MP files. I'm happy with it and I love it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I'm a 25+ year Nikon shooter and all the hype surrounding this camera is true. It is an amazing camera and I'm really looking forward to shooting with it on vacation. The video quality is amazing and is something that nothing in Nikon's line up can touch. The eye auto focus is a bit tricky but the results are just amazing. Sony has converted another Nikon shooter.

The Sony A7 III lives up to the hype. It's light, comfortable to hold, and most importantly, takes wonderful photos. I'm still exploring what this camera can do when it comes to stills, and will educate myself about video soon. The menu can be challenging in terms of scrolling through all of the information available, and remembering where specific capabilities reside. There are a multitude of helpful YouTube videos, and I've found David Busch's Sony A7 III book an extremely worthwhile investment. I also purchased the Sony 24-105mm lens. It's a bit heavy, but a great all-around lens.

Best buy was the only place I can get release day pick up so major kudos tp Best Buy! The camera ai received was perfect out the box. Camera is solidly build with all the great options. I switched to Sony from Canon recently and so far sony has optimized photo and video with all the great functions that I had before but pushed it to a new level. I love the video capabilities, the in bodybimage stabilization. Sony is going tue right direction with mirrorless. Right now I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Is a super nice all around camera. Works really good in low light conditions if you shoots events at night! . Is pretty fast if you work or shoot sports! . I think right night now is the best versatile camera of all times! Really good for photos and videos! . You can do slow motion 1080-120fps but also 4K at 30fps. Fully recommend this camera! . And btw is fullframe

Not the camera you’re looking for!

I bought this Kit a few weeks back, as every review out there spoke about how good it is. Well, reality vs potentially sponsored reviews are not always in sync. Here's what was actually good about the camera... AF was very fast with native lenses. Sensor has very low noise. Video has a ton of good features and works fairly well. Here's what's not so good about the camera. The Meter is not in sync with the capabilities of the sensor and things that should be better handled by the meter often leave you with lost data in the Highlights (I know how to use a cameras meter, this one is just very liberal with its settings). Skin tones are among the worst I've ever had in a camera and two other people who bought this camera reached out to me to tell me they felt the same way. Eye Auto Focus only works if the subject is facing the camera and even then it depends heavily on the lens for locking on. As soon as your subject turns their head at even the slightest angle away from the camera, it is unable to get a lock on the visible eye. Sony set the contrast so low in the images, in order to get a bette Dynamic Range out of the camera, that you literally have to use their best lenses (with great microcontrast) in order to get a decent looking image out of the camera. Another point of failure is the fact that the camera doesn't come with an external battery charger and that creates major issues where you're likely to snap the door off while trying to charge the camera via the plug that was provided. Even more, the menu driven controls has you going through about 100 pages of controls just to configure the camera. It's one of the worst menu systems you'll ever use and this is compounded by the ridiculously poor content in the cameras manual! The literally layout the whole camera menu system in the manual and fail to thoroughly explain several settings. If you're looking st this body and you don't need the 5 FPS burst rate, just go ahead and grab the A7R II, you won't regret that decision.
