Small but heavy hitter
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switch from a full frame canon to the Sony Alpha a7r II and have been very happy. I shoot video as well as stills and am very happy. Just hope it holds up well but I sure it will as it feels like a solid camera.

Great camera. Don´t think too much about it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for an excellent camera under 1.5K, then this is the one. 4k video, eye focus, in body stabilization, 42MP photo (with the option to crop down), and to top it all off, Full Frame. Definitly cant go wrong with this purshase. Have the money for the A7R3 or the new A7R4, then go for those, don´t have that kind of money, this is the best option. Fully recommended.

Best Mirrorless Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has a winner here with both still photos and video productions! The in camera body stabilization is awesome! Super sharp photos and videos that rival the most expensive media cameras! Love this Sony A7III !

Incredible camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The amount of detail and dynamic range that this camera can capture is absolutely insane. I've found myself shooting scenes in only one frame that previously would have required using GNDs and/or exposure blends to properly expose. I've also done a couple portrait shoots using primarily a legacy 85mm f/1.5 and am astounded by how easy manual focus is with the A7RII. My keeper rate using this lens wide open on my Canon was likely around 10%, but is easily higher than 75% with the Sony thanks to focus peaking and focus magnification.

Exceptional camera for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have lots of Sony camera's including (3) A-99's and a an A7II. I purchased a low shutter count used A7RII on EBAY for my wife for Christmas. It came in early and I tried it out. I liked the camera so well I purchased another from Best Buy on their Black Friday sales event for the wife and I'm keeping the first camera. Most of our pictures are landscapes and animals so the slower auto focus and less functional eye focus (in the A7III and A7RIII / IV) are not deal breakers for us. For the (sale) price, this camera is a great value (you may have to wait a little while for it to go on sale).

Just buy it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent months debating on this camera and I’m happy I purchased it. Photos are obviously incredible but the videos are amazing. Shoot incredibly well in “scene” mode even in low light.

Love, love, love this camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the weight. sturdiness and picture quality. In a perfect world the the AEL button could be a bit bigger for back button focus. I have only had the camera for a couple weeks so still getting to know the camera.

Sony A7RII
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had two opportunities to run it through the mill, one family event, where I took shots of my grandchildren at play and another time doing some of my street photography, again I wasn't disappointed, especially liked the silent mode. I was suppose to go out today, but unfortunately my model took sick, was going to do some portraiture, but I'll have to wait a bit. I've been doing some reading on it, seems that this camera is best for non-action or speed shooting, so I'm glad that I still have my Sony A7, which is still a good camera and I plan on using both for many years to come. I'm excited to be exploring more of this camera and getting out a little more often.

Converted to Sony
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have shot canon for 10 year. Decided I wanted something new and haven't looked back. With a converter for my lenses I can still use all my Canon glass. Amazing camera. Battery life is the only issue.
