I wanted to make a significant upgrade in terms of camera capabilities. After a lot of research, I felt the Sony A7RII was the right option. I have not been disappointed. With 42 megapixels, amazing features including 4K video, it is a giant step up from my Canon 7D. Image quality is stunning, the ability zoom and crop in post process is great! It can be used in full auto mode as easy as a point and shoot, with a depth of features and control to keep a professional exploring and learning for quite some time. I am pleased and strongly recommend it for the avid hobbiest or professional.

Great but with one caveat
