Read the reviews! It's all true, 42MP/4K video, 5-axis stabilization...Couldn't be happier with this new Sony a7rii, unless I had two of them.....Amazon couldn't deliver on time for me, but Best Buys did!

I am very pleased with my Sony Alpha a7R II mirrorless camera. Sony has thoughtfully pre-programmed the camera with a variety of shooting scenarios so that you do not need to adjust all of the setings yourself. I also found the weight of this camera more manageable for travel purposes than a Nikon full frame camera. The photos are easy to transfer wirelessly from your camera to your smart phone or iPad tablet.

If you have the computer that can handle the big files this baby pumps out you are going to have a blast!!! I have done client work the The North Face and Uber and all with fantastic sharpness and amazing detail even in low light. It is my go to for everything under the son, whether it be a wedding or landscape trip to the mountains this camera is in my bag.

Wanted the get the A7RIII because it was the most up to date before the A7RIV his stores a month after I bought this camera, however neither were within budget. Love this camera, the resolution and features are amazing. Just wish it had better battery like the A7RIII. Other than that it is fast, has awesome ISO performance for low light photography, etc.

Hard not to be happy about 42mp. I honestly don’t find the battery as an issue. I was happy to see they provided two batteries with the body. Great buy!

The a9 is getting a lot of hype, but for many people this is still the best Sony camera for their needs...and nearly 2k less expensive. This two year old Sony former flagship still outshines the new flagship, a9, in certain departments that are critical to some of us. Namely, that 42mp sensor. The AF is still going to work just fine for us landscape and portrait photographers. Two memory card slots would have been nice, but I've only heard stories of memory card failures third hand. It's never happened to me or anyone I know. I know it happens though and it seems Sony is addressing this in their new cameras to come. I know a lot of people are interested in the latest and greatest. The a9 is an awesome camera. If you're a sports or wildlife photographer, maybe even an event photographer, you can probably justify that extra cost. For most of the rest of us we would probably be better served putting that extra 2k towards a piece of G Master glass.

Started with an a6000 and finally looked to move full frame. Always saw the A7r II was the next step. Going from a Miata to a NSX. Wow, great speed, AF, VF, etc. Battery life is worse than terrible, but everything else off sets that issue and doesn't justify the BIG jump to MK III. Great camera

Upgraded from a canon 6D to Sony. Have to say I'm blown away by the camera. Excellent sharp images and works with my EF mount lens with a converter. Great purchase. Only negatives are the battery life and writing time to sd card

Sony a7rii is an amazing camera. It is worth the price. I use it with 16-35mm f2.8 gm lens and 70-200mm f4 zoom lens. The videos are good with great resolution. Photos are crystal clear. The batteries drain fast but it comes with a spare battery. Good for professionals.

Being the owner of the A7II, A7SII, and now the A7RII, I can honestly say that there are definitive differences between the three besides nomenclature.
The biggest difference I have discovered about the RII is the autofocus functionality. It is far superior to the other 2 bodies but as for picture quality, I really don't see that big of a difference between the 7II and the RII. The SII differs in picture quality, even when all three have identical settings. The photos from the SII are brighter than the other 2 bodies and even at identical ISO settings, the pics from the RII are not all that distinguishable so It would seem that if autofocus speed is not a neccesity, save your money and buy the A7II.

This is a great all around camera, pictures are amazing, love the larger sensor. Low light photos are great even at higher risk. I have used Sony cameras before and was familiar with mirrorless cameras before purchasing the a7RII but it exceded my expectations.

Coming from the a6000, this camera is a serious upgrade. Creative shooting buttons, metal body, incredible low light shooting…..
